Jean-style workout pants? (I don't know about these. I think I'll stick to Old Navy workout pants.)

OK, actually, these crazy workout pants are something else... Check out the skeleton pants. Ha-ha! :disagree:

I exercise at home in my jeans. Or pajamas, but when I do the things I do at the gym or outside I wear sweatpants because I do more than lift and I think sweat pants are better for anything other than just lifting.

Depends on where you are working out. Most gyms don't allow them.

What? Tell me of these gyms in which someone can't come as they are. Not snarky at all. Just an ignorant gal (I workout at home or the occasional "drop in" class at my uni's gym--no dress code there).
Jeans aren't gym attire. Suits aren't either. Also because of their durability and rivets and buttons on some, they have a tendency to wear out the vinyl coverings on seats of machines and benches much faster than if people were just wearing gym attire.

No. If you are working out vigorously enough, you won't WANT to wear jeans. I'm actually horrified at the thought, frankly.

Also, my jeans cost 200 dollars and my workout pants cost 25, so-no.

I've worn jean shorts on bike rides but other than that, no. Seems pretty uncomfortable.
  • Err why put yourself through that? If you're going for a light walk yeah sure, but if you're burning up a sweat at the gym jeans would be the LAST thing I'd want on my body.
    And the chafing...
