Golden State... since Steph got there. I follow players. Jordan at the Bulls. Then a very dry spell where no one really grabbed me. I liked Duncan and the Spurs but not a die hard. Then I saw Steph at Davidson and just like Jordan at UNC, I clicked.

Man, I had to post this after that Warriors smack in the face. Concerned about protecting the rim and blocking shots now. I don't think they'll ever score under 100, but they CAN'T let others score over 100 either. Let's see what they do in New Orleans.

Sonics...... yeah- it's been a long 10 years or so.
Enjoy watching the Warriors though. Will be fun with Durant (who was drafted by the Sonics)......

I thought it would be a big lead for GSW in the end. KD played well and mouthed it up.

Except for the 3rd quarter, this was a good game for the DUBS because they didn't have to use Curry, Durant, Thompson or Green in the 4th at all to win. Bodes well for the back to back tonight in Denver.

Disappointed that Durant only got 29 and not 30 to go along with Curry's and Klay's 30. Rough times ahead.

Anyone forgot the "dubs" dropped a 3-1 lead in the finals !

And have never beaten a full strength CAVS team in a series?

    Thought not.
They've only played in a series in this scenario once. I look forward to another meeting in the Championship.

    That was fake. They're friends.

Btw, Russ was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame last night by the one and only GOAT himself! You know who intro'd KD when he was inducted last year? Russell Westbrook. Haha

correct and the cavs won. and a barely fit cavs were 2-1 up in the previous series. cavs can shoot from deep, have the best player since jordan, a better bench now, and a post game that destroys the warriors...

i know who i will have as faves if both get there fit again.
If we're talking IF's, Curry wasn't fully healthy and the game where Draymond was suspended would have been a game at not full strength. And we were up 3-1 at the time.
So both have won 1 each. Let's see what happens. Both are off to good starts right now.

Poor curry, funny how he wasn't injured when he was dropping 30 on teams in the finals.
You're saying you didn't see the significant knee injury in the 4th game of the Rockets? I had the same knee injury at the beginning of this year (mine being a 3rd degree strain) and it took me 7 months to get back full mobility and to do squats and presses again. And if you look at his scoring after the injury, it SIGNIFICANTLY was down. If you're going to call out "full strength", then acknowledge it when it happens.
As for green. He missed one game, came back 3-2 up. And lost two games.
Momentum is everything in sports. If you don't believe that, then I don't know what to tell you. Not to mention Green played much more subdued after the suspension. I'm sure it was in his head, but nevertheless those last 2 games his rebounding and blocks were down.
The Cavs missed Kyrie for 5 games and KLOVE for the whole series.

    When both fit, Cavs won.
Not when they played a non playoff game last year. In fact the Cavs were routed. Again, we can talk all the reasons why both teams lost against each other in the last 2 Finals, but the reality is they are both 1-1. Let's see how the season turns out. Right now both are favored to return and I for one would love to see who wins the rubber match.

I'd love to see them in the Playoffs again. I want to go to a game here, but the ticket prices are outrageous. Even in the nosebleeds, tickets are running $150-$200 each. And that's for the mediocre teams to play in Oracle.

cavs dont care about the reg season at all, hence letting lebron have two weeks off in 2015, missing the second of more than a few back to backs last year, keeping kyrie out (who has only got fully fit AFTER the 2016 season ended) til later last season, not caring if we have the best reg season record in the east etc...
Playing in the East buys you time off.
the true MVP and KING of the NBA.. KING LEBRON.. has ALWAYS won a road game in the play offs. it will be the same this year too, lebron rested in indiana.
    So has Curry and company.
cavs werent routed in GSW last year on xmas day were they? and as for the game in cle.. players gave up before the game.. they wanted the coach fired, i dont agree with that, ppl pay money to watch them.. but it worked out right in the end.
Players gave up before the game? Really? As professionals? And you know this how?
Momentum? lol lasts for one game, doesnt carry over dude.
Lol, bet you weren't saying that about Lebron when he left for Miami.

Again, it's all talk till the Finals. I expect both to be there. Rubber match will help decide who's right. Till then, DUBNATION baby.

JR Smith, Mo williams, Tristan Thompson all turned up for that game 35 minutes before tip off. As did two unnamed bench players. None of the players wanted Blatt. This was the tipping point game. Players turning up half an hour before a big home game tells you all you need to know.
Or that they all could have been caught up in the same traffic. If the starters really gave up, why didn't everyone show up 35 minutes before tip off? This is speculation.
whats that got to do with momentum?
My bad, that quote about Lebron was calling him the true MVP. Cleveland was burning jerseys when he left. Now it's all love that he's back. If Durant wins MVP and Westbrook was 2nd, you think Oklahoma fans would recognize it?
its not a real rubber match. unless you think lebron (on his own) v the so called bestest team ever is a real series.
It would be a rubber match because it would the 3rd time both teams met in the Finals with a split between the two. And if you believe Lebron wins it all on his own, then he should have won it the year before.
june cant come soon enough for me, i hope the warriors break the record again.. Will make it sweeter when the best player in the league, and the best young point guard... smash some band wagon fans hearts again.

even the bucks hate the "dubs" now..
Bucks lost. That's all that counts. DUBS aren't always going to annihilate everyone in back to back games on the road. And I'm sure we'll be a much better team by June. By then, we'll have figured out how to play better defense. Till then, we'll just outscore everyone.
