Slow dance, I'm a hopeless romantic. Plus it's easier to fake knowing how to slow dance

    No, I'm actually an atheist.

Do people who don't hold the same beliefs as you bother you?
  • ManyouknowIsurecantstay

No, not at all. But, it does bother me when people don't respect other people's beliefs.

    Do you believe in God?

Nope, but I don't mind people who do, and I respect the beliefs of others as long as they don't encroach on my right to not believe in gods.

Do you believe the bible is literally true?

    I like that.

No, I think you have to interpret it for yourself.

When was the last time you went to church? (We seem to be going for a very spiritual theme)

I only went to church a few times, when I was a kid. I've led a fairly secular life, and have been an atheist since I was a teenager.

Have you ever questioned your faith?

I'm not sure if I've actually really found it yet. I do believe there's something greater than us, but I'm not sure what yet - I'll have to explore that side of me more.

If you're an atheist, what led you to become an atheist? And, if you are religious, what led you down that religious path?

I just don't see any compelling evidence to believe in a god or gods, and I don't think my life would be any more meaningful if I did. In fact I personally feel that not believing in an afterlife leads me to take more value out of this life - since I'm pretty sure it's all I have.

Would you trust an atheist? (You'd be surprised how many people don't)

That seems almost like a humanist approach - I like it though. And I respect that you're not afraid to share your beliefs.

Unless they gave me a reason not to trust them, of course I would. I try to get to know people before I judge them.

Do you relate to any religious teachings, that are not specifically linked to belief in God, for example treating others how they would like to be treated?
