I think you need a new dietician. I have thyroid disease and I'm a huge fan of soup and dairy products. Lost 40+ pounds so far...soooooo....

Why? There is no reason to eat every 3 hours - this is usually a good method for people who are eating at a surplus to gain weight and don't want to eat a super large meal 3x a day.

Weight loss is all about a caloric deficit. You can eat dairy. You can eat soup. I'm eating soup tonight, and dairy. You can eat fruit more than 3x a week unless your medical condition requires that you limit your carbohydrate/glucose intake.

Is your dietician actually licensed? Or are you seeing a nutritionist? There's a difference.

^This. There is a BIG difference between a nutritionist and a registered dietitian

It's a shame you can't eat free candy. It's the best candy there is.

Not sustainable. At all. Suddenly stopping eating foods that you previously ate is going to make you crave.

So you're eating like 1500 calories a day. I'm going to guess that the "dietician" pulled his plan for you out of his *kitten*.

You don't have to eat 5-6x a day. You don't need to eat a bro diet to lose weight.

I'm not joking in the slightest about what I'm about to say: Just assume that almost EVERYTHING he told you about nutrition is completely wrong.

how the hell can soup make your thyroid stop working? all soup is is exactly what your "nutritionist" is making you eat, except in water.... how does water--something we NEED--hurt you?

btw, google "soup makes your thyroid stop working" and you'll find N-O-T-H-I-N-G that supports this. in fact, you'll get soup recipes for people with thyroid diseases...

Yes, you do. It's called "tracking calories and eating at a deficit," which is... basically the purpose of this website.

Do people seriously sign up for an account here and NOT realize that it's a calorie tracking website? Like what do people think the purpose of logging food and tracking calories is for, if they decide that they need to actually use some inane diet plan that they will ditch in 3 weeks?
