It will only work in conjunction with controlled eating habits. The vast majority of people who don't pay attention will eat more when they move more, often even above the amount of calories they burned.
Yes I agree, it seems the more exercise you do the hungrier you feel. Balance is the important thing. Diet and exercise. The 10,000 steps only makes things go faster for weight loss. I sure can feel it when I do 10,000 steps.
