December 2014 walk/bike/jog 100 mile challenge

Options
Since I have been doing this a very long time I have decided too keep it going. For awhile I did 120 mile challenges. Dropped it back in hopes others would join me. IF you dont hardly make it or IF you go over it is all good. The point is that we MOVE!

As said in the November thread I have had a virus so I doubt I'll get any walking or anything else in for a few days but I hope someone joins me here.... :)

So explain the group a bit. Check-ins, stuff like that.

Edited to ask: Is it a 'group' or just here on the public forums?

I want to do this! Would be mostly on the exercise bike, with a bit of walking. Going to stay with family for Christmas so aiming for 100 miles by the 19th.

3 miles on the exercise bike yesterday :)

I'm in! I did 2.5 miles walking in the park and another 1 mile on the treadmill. Does elliptical count? I did 1.5 miles there too. :)

3.5 miles (5.0 if the elliptical counts).

We (in this challenge area) are I guess considered a group. We walk/bike/jog alone but log our progress here so others can see how we're doing. It challenges us all.

Are we stating where our mileage came from?

YES we just log what we do. I log my walking seperate from my exercise bike.

    sorta like this.......
    walking miles 0.00 miles
    .............Exercise Bike miles 0.00
    .............jog miles 0.00

Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. My previous posts have been from walking. This challenge is where my fitbit comes in real handy! :)

9.5 miles on the exercise bike yesterday, so 12.5 miles so far.
About to do another 5-10 (depending on how tired I am!)

    You're welcome jesiann2014! :)

I tired leaving this post earlier twice. Twice my internest service provider went out.

2 years ago I joined a 50 mile walking challenge. Once i was going past that I joined a 100 mile challenge. When the lady stopped doing them I started them. At one point I even made it a 120 mile challenge but that seemed too scare people off...lol...I went back too the 100 mile challenge but made it for people who wanted too do more than walk. The Challenge is too MOVE no matter what you do and log your progress for everyone too see. I think that challenges us all? So THANKS AGAIN <3 too all who have joined me here. Look at it this way. The weight you dont gain during the Holiday is weight you dont have too lose. Do as much as you can. I did not meet my goal last month due too this virus BUT I did my best. Once I'm back too a norm I will do what I can this month knowing I am already way behind. I will still keep going...

Cycled 5 miles yesterday, and then my bike broke! Hopefully my husband can fix it, but he's away until Sunday. I have a rowing machine, could I rack up some miles on that in the meantime?

mgsr...YES do anything you want too rack up those miles!

jesiann2014...THANK YOU...I was a unit sect for 32 years in a Hospital. I guess I'm sort of a people person...lol...but when I was young I was very shy! Coming too Fitnesspal is one of the best things I could have done for myself. It keeps me TRUE too myself. IF I mess up on food then I see it staring back at me. When I see people 'working' here it encourages ME. I feel so way behind reading all you guys have done BUT that encourages me too get well fast and back in the swing of things...

I DID take a slow small walk with my girls. Only got in 1 mile yesterday but that is a start. I hope too get at least that in today...baby steps...

    NOVEMBER 4TH...........1 walking Mile...
