Because you are eating too little - it may seem like a contraindication, but it happens. Also, consult a physician regarding whether it is safe for you to reach your goal weight and maintain it0

also, lose* not loose0

My question: why do you want to lose weight?
You are right at the lower end of healthy weight for your height now, with a BMI of 20.4.
Maybe 105 is not a healthy goal.0 -

If she were eating too little, she would still be losing weight.
OP, you're already at a healthy weight, so why would you need to lose?0 -

You've probably reached the lowest healthy weight you can get to. To lose any more weight you'd need to eat less and that would be very risky. There's no benefit to losing any more, so why would you want to?0 -
i still feel a little podgy i suppose0

I feel body re composition is where you should be heading ...start looking at a strength training program. You'd be amazed at the type of results you can get.0

Yes....it definitely sounds like a contradiction. And here i always thought if you ate less you lost weight. How wrong i was-2 -
I agree with a few other posters. you don't have more weight to loose, you need to turn the weight you have into muscle. That will give you the lean firm body you're looking for.

I am hearing you loud and clear--don't go below 1200, and speak to a doctor.0 -

I agree with you both. Eat more food. Food is fuel for exercise. If you are running 20 minutes a day (140 minutes a week), you should be eating more like 1,700 cals. a day. If your job is active, you may need to eat even more. Check out Scooby's Workshop to help you understand that you need to eat more to be healthy:

No. If this were the case, starving children in Africa and anorexics would be overweight.0 -
You're not losing weight because you don't have any weight to lose. You are already at the perfect weight for your height. If you don't like the way your body looks, start lifting.0

Start lifting weights. If you think you look pudgy it's probably because you've still got some fat while you've lost muscle. Lift and then start eating more a little more to build up muscle.0

Nope.
OP you are probably eating more than you think (or eating 1200 and training and not fuelling your workout then binging? (Which would average out as more)). Track your food accurately and you should lose.
In saying that, you're not eating enough IMO, try a more conservative deficit and you should still lose, if you track accurately. Although I don't feel like you need to, just my opinion though.

No. I find honesty the best 'tactic' when offering advice to other adults.

Just reaffirming what others are telling you - you are at a healthy weight. Weight lifting will get you where you want to be. Pretty quickly, too.0

I think your not losing weight if the Miunt your eating an the amount your burning is the same. If your eating 1200 an burning 1200 well it's not going to change. 3,500 calories is 1 pound of fat. So it's based on how much you burn to equal a pound..To keep track of it an finding the easiest way to lose it is rope jumping or some call it jump roping. I use this site to track how many calories I burn based on the speed. Glamour is one my magazines I read an on their site they have a tracker for rope jumping/jump rope. Here is the link http://www.glamour.com/health-fitness/activity/calculators/jumping_rope0

Are you weighing your food ?
Staying hydrated ?
Sleeping well ?0 -
Stop looking at weight loss, and focus on body recomposition. Do this by eating just slightly under maintenance while lifting heavy weights. Reevaluate after 3-4 months of consistency.0
