    also, lose* not loose

    also, contradiction* not contraindication

I'm not sure if they misspelled the word or if they actually meant it but surprisingly "Contraindication" is an actual word. ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶ Shocking!-I've learned something new.

Stop looking at weight loss, and focus on body recomposition. Do this by eating just slightly under maintenance while lifting heavy weights. Reevaluate after 3-4 months of consistency.

This would work out well for you with a small deficit as your BMI is going to start to get close to the underweight class if you continue to cut.

How big is your deficit currently and what is your TDEE?

Weightlifting is my advice as well. :) You're at the perfect weight and lifting will help you tighten everything up. Give it a try and if after 6 months it's not working (which would be surprising) come back and add that to the post. :) Good luck to you, just know you're beautiful the way you are as well, but of course it's your body and you have to live in it.

Contraindication is certainly a word, basically means circumstances not to do something.

Eg contraindications for using x medication are pregnancy, cardiac failure, and diabetes.

But the poster in question meant contradiction.

Sounds legit. Most people that don't understand a concept like to find extreme examples to support their position.......that way their head doesn't explode.

i still feel a little podgy i suppose
The feeling is the problem, not your body. You're not a little podgy, so odds are you'd still feel that way at 105 without addressing the problem-- most likely body dysmorphia. Few of us see ourselves how we really are, though. That's why BMI is a good tool for defining a lower weight limit.

I think correcting others' grammar or spelling is against the forum rules?

Because you are eating too little - it may seem like a contraindication, but it happens. Also, consult a physician regarding whether it is safe for you to reach your goal weight and maintain it

I would just like to point out that Starvation Mode is a myth and does not exist in reality. There is a ton of data proving this. If you are not getting the weight loss you desire it is simply because you are eating too many calories. Every diet comes down to caloric intake. Now everyone responds to food differently what works for one will not for another. Having said all of that you are about a billion times closer to your goal than I am to mine. I wish you the best of luck.

I think you need to stop focusing on the numbers. 115 is a healthy weight for 5'3 and that might be why you can't seem to lose any more weight.

I will keep it short! I would like to make a suggestion that will help you maintain the healthy look that you are desiring. Since you are young it will be to your benefit to learn the principals of healthy living which include: Sleep, Exercise,Water, Mental Rest, Nutritious Food and a Positive Attitude. If you make them a habit they will serve you well your whole life and you will never have to worry about being over weight. The best to you because you are on the right track.

Are you weighing your food ?
    Staying hydrated ?
    Sleeping well ?
Ditto. Get a good scale and weigh everything. If you're eating packaged food regularly, just know that the food industry tampers with the numbers on the nutrition labels. They are allowed a certain margin of error.

If there's something in your diet that's so good, you can't believe it has so few calories, then cut that item out and see what happens.

I understand and have similar frustrations with those last few pounds. I know mentally I'm at my weight but I always strive for my skinny weight. Unfortunately it's hard to reach and when I finally do it's hard to maintain long term, I always end up gaining back 5 lbs.

Just in case it wasn't clear. Start lifting free weights at the gym, with a very slight increase in calories a day. I would add only about 100 from a protein heavy source. This will help you build muscle while mostly maintaining current fat levels. This is otherwise known as clean bulking. I'd be willing to bet you will see a difference in as little as month.
