What an amazing (almost) 12 months it has been! So far I have lost just over 162 pounds. I hope to finish the year on around 165 pounds lost. I've lost about 73kg or to put it into context I have lost the weight of my Mum, 11 stone and 8 pounds.

These photos are from 2009/2010. I had posted some more recent ones last time I updated you all in June. I weighed about the same until December 20th last year.

At one point I was seeing a loss of just over a stone a month. That has slowed to 6-8 pounds a month more recently. My exercise has increased due to just simply weighing less and being able to get around more.

I achieved this with the use of MFP, psychotherapy and just sheer bloody-mindedness! My BMI has gone from 56 to 33. My waist size has gone from a 58 inch to 38 inch. I have lost about 12 inches off my chest. I have dropped from 21.5 inches on the collar to 15.5 inches. I lost a shoe size and saw a 30% reduction in my astigmatism (yes this is apparently a known and recorded thing).
The below are from my recent trip the Doctor Who set and visit to the current working TARDIS set just last Friday.

My goal is to reach 13 stone in March 2015 and then review what my plan of action is for weight loss going forward. At the time I will have (hopefully) gone from morbidly obese to just overweight.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year all MFP'ers!
