I'm just north west of Atlanta in Cobb County. My schedule is a bit crazy, not sure it would work to meet up. But we can be virtual running partners. :)

OR if you're anywhere near the Cobb Co area and Tue & Thur evenings are good, KSU has a decent running loop near campus.
  • Cool! I live about an hour from KSU but we can deff be virutal work out buddies! How much weight have you lost? I'm actually stuck at 190 for the past week, hence the need for a workout buddy! I deff need some motivation. Been looking at PINTEREST for inspiration and photos to keep me going. Trying to get down to a healthy weight of 140-150 for my wedding! :)

I've reached my goal - I'm actually a tad under my 'range' right now. I went from 178.5 12-25-13 to being (goal) under 130 10-11-14. So still new to maintenance, and my comfort zone is 125-130. Still tracking, logging food daily but approximating more and weighing a little less now. I'm working on my running program, and planning to do a 1/2 marathon in Feb. I'm running 4-5 miles on Tue & Thur and plan for this weekend's 'long' run is 1.5 hours. My previous long run was 6 miles/treadmill but I'm trying to do more outside going forward, less treadmill.

I've done the on-again/off-again thing for years and what finally clicked for me was acknowledging that I needed to set activity goals. Not just exercise x minutes a day, y times a week. But build more activity into my life in general. I'm liking the results - feel better than I have in years. And when trying to have a 250-500/day calorie deficit: accuracy is key. Food scale all the way!

You may have heard this before, but being at a weight for a week really is not reason for concern. Goal is to lose weight, downward trend over time. If you weigh less today than a month ago: you're doing well.
