Have you ever worked with a nutrition coach (or are you one)? Can you please share your experience on how you find somebody to work with?

I work with a personal trainer and nutrition consultant. I found her because she works at the gym I go to. I have had nothing but success and great experience with her. It does cost some money however I sat down one day and figured out how much I was spending on the crap food, booze and buying bigger clothes. She was much cheaper in the long run :)

She has kept me on track and that is something that I needed. I work out with her twice per week and she is the one that got me to log all my food into MFP. The weeks when I didn't lose anything she looked at my log with me and we found where I could make some changes. I am not sure if I could have the same success without her.

    Good luck!

In my opinion the only people who seek out nutrition coaches are the ones who don't want to take the relatively small amount of time researching nutrition and learning the proper way to eat. A nutrition coach is not going to tell you anything that you can't learn on your own for free, not to mention some of them don't even know what they're doing to be honest, which is another thing you have to worry about. My advice is save your money and do a little research. If you're looking for knowledgeable people about nutrition online, I'd suggest looking to Alan Aragon and Layne Norton. Give them a look.
