I'm not sure why but a while ago, gocomics decided to try to prevent people from linking the cartoons they host. Okay. The link was to the page on gocomics, but the link was not in the post at all. I guess I did something wrong when I posted it.
Does anyone remember a Calvin and Hobbes comic where Calvin was looking for his marbles? He tells Hobbes that he lost his marbles and that he can't find them and Hobbes says something like "everyone suspected that" Calvin different realize what Hobbes meant until he is in bed
I have been trying to find that one. I saw it in once of the books years ago, but have not been able to find it. It is not in any of the books that I have.0 -

This is so me. I have one cat that used to always greet me at the door (while the others don't) and of course get under my feet as I was trying to just walk in the house. Recently, I started coming home, and he wouldn't greet me anymore...I'd find him sleeping on the sofa or hanging out in the bedroom...and I was like WTH? It's like I'm yesterday's news...

He eventually looks up and acknowledges my presence, but not much coming to greet me or leg rubbing when I get home anymore. He has made up for it, by pushing additional things off the coffee table, night stand, etc in the middle of the night to tell me he loves me and wants to play with me then...his new favorite middle of the night activity is lifting the top of the empty glass candy dish lid by putting the ball of the lid between his teeth and then dropping it on the dish to make sounds. Argggghhhh!3 -
As you know, I have two cats, littermate sisters we hand-raised after they ended up in a cat rescue as their feral mother got killed by a car. One of them is gregarious and meets me at the door daily. The other used to be stand-offish. Over the past year, the stand-offish one decided my son and I aren't all bad. My son is quite happy about it. I'm suspicious of her motives.

For example, if I'm focused on my computer, she decides she needs to be in my lap and/or my face, usually just long enough to break my train of thought.
She has a thing for cardboard boxes and used to sleep in them. Lately, she's decided my reusable grocery bags are a better sleeping pad. I've moved the bag, hoping she would abandon them as I find it annoying to have to shake cat hair off of the bags when I want to use them. Nope. Short of hiding them inside a cupboard, she's on them.
Her sister is the one who needs thyroid meds. I have two food dishes. I've never seen the one that needs meds steal food from the other's dish... but if the medicated cat lifts her nose out of the dish, the non-medicated cat sticks her nose in.
My working theory is she's become an azzhole.5 -
