    I started walking
First i could only do 0.2/0.3/0.5 mile. That was how bad it was. heart racing and out of breath
That was about 3 months ago. I did 5 to 6 days a week.
Some days i could get the half mile some days not. But i kept going.

I worked it up and didnt give up
    Now i do:
6 times a week an hour walking ( 3mph) And in that i jog for 3 times 10 minutes
3 times a week i lift 30 minutes next to that.

So yes starting walking is great and take it step by step :)

I eat healthy and that is why i lose weight, the walking is to get fit. But it helps a lot and you feel better and better by each week that goes by.

I am even at the point that i long to walk/jog even on my rest day ( today) But i know my body needs to rest too.

For everybody it is different. I will never be a runner/jogger. I love biking and want to switch soon.
But to get more active, walking is great.
I use music for all my gym hours. and love the ME time.

Pick something you like and you will be successful!

I started out walking 15 minutes a day - 7.5 minutes one way 7.5 minutes back. I now run three days a week and do power plates two days. Anything you can manage is a great start! Good luck!

Walking is great. Every week try to walk a little longer, and gradually walk a little faster. When you start to feel a little fitter, you can try adding in some hills. The point is to gradually increase what you are doing and make it more challenging. The body will very quickly adapt.
