    Had a really good day today, was under calories and got a two mile walk in at a moderate to fast pace. Felt really good to start this week off on a good note.

    Looking forward to tomorrow me and Abby are going to the park in the A.M. and I get to go get a great shake in the morning, so I will start the day off with a bang. Plus I stocked up on my veggies tonight before the sale was up at the store. So I am ready for a healthy eating day tomorrow.

    everyone is looking good. hope you are around lurking lula. you normally post early. great walk frogy. did you get something in kristen?

    i have a broker interview at noon today. need to dress nicely. sure hope something fits. struggling with a tough decision on a class i have to take before the end of the year. on who take it with, my now broker or someone else. he has been a jerk since i got my license, don't know if i want to take it from him. long story with him.

    need to get a few things done around here before i shower and put makeup on (to just sweat off).

    I'm still here. Forgot to weigh in this morning. Will either do it after the gym or tomorrow morning. Started back on Wellbutrin two days ago. By the way Lauryn, it is also supposed to help smoking cessation as well. Anyway, the bad side effect for me is it makes me more agitated at times, and super critical of my spouse. I guess I can say it brings some things to light. But it does help with the appetite and cravings oddly enough. Of course, when I got home, my hubby wasn't here even though he said he was leaving work 1.5 hours before (it's common for him not to be somewhere on time), so I sat and WHOLE bag of cherries. Not as bad as a half gallon of ice cream. But I wasn't even hungry for it and didn't realize it until the bag was finished. Oh well, live and learn.

    It's great to see how well everyone did this last week. Keep it up. One day of slip up will not ruin you. Keep the resolve going. WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER!!!

    lula where do you find 1/2 gallon ice cream? LOL... at least with the smaller sizes when we sit to eat the WHOLE thing it's not as much. LOL........ (((hugs))) to you my friend.

    that's not you right?

    i have a challenge for you guys. this is what my trainer gave me way back when. i used it this morning. you work up a sweat and it's a quickie....what's 7 and half minutes. you could do this just before you shower.

    7.5 minutes of as many rounds as possible of
    - 5 pushups
    - 10 situps
    - 15 squats

    next week i want to challenge all of you to do something everyday. let's think of things. not time consuming real quick and can fit it in. examples walk 1/2 mile, or if everyone has a pedometer (can get at the dollar store) walk 5000 steps. sound good to you all?

    Goodmorning all,

    I am still hoping to be able to go for a walk but it is not that warm this morning and the wind is blowing yuck, but I may just bundle us up and head out for a quick one. My dd loves the wind in her face so we may brave it anyways I will have to step out and see.

    How I wish I had my drivers license right now!!! Only a few more weeks and I can get my doctors release to get it again.

    Cathy - I am up for your challenge I will do that tonight before shower and bed.

    I have a favor to ask of all of you, my dear friend is coming today to Fargo with her 2 year old daughter and twin 5 month olds. Her daughter has to see a specialist for some stomach issues, they do not know what is going on but for the last month she has been in and out of the hospital, because ever 2 to 3 days she gets really bad diareaha and vomiting, and to top it all off her husband is deployed to Iraq right now. So if you could send some good thoughts her way I would appreciate it, we just hope the doctors will gain some wisdom and figure out what is going on.
    Plus give me patience I am watching the twin while she is at the doctors.

    Cathy...yes...I got in a run! It didn't end up raining again until later in the evening!! YAY!

    Everyone else...HELLO!

    Plan today:
    B-Whole grain Total cereal with skim milk, 2 c. coffee, 4 tbsp. sugar-free creamer
    S-Trail mix bar, banana
    L-Natural PB& Sugar Free J on whole wheat, baby carrots, light yogurt
    S-Golden delicious apple
    D-Tuscan sun dried tomato marinated pork chop, side salad with spritzer dressing, maybe a baked red potato
    S-??? Not sure yet...probably reduced fat graham crackers with cool whip free

    Exercise plan:
    2 mile run with Kadence hopefully!

    Kristin - Looks like a great plan on the day, hope you get in a run tonight as well

    I have had a great day so far, I am under calories by a lot, I think I will be finding some extra snacks for later I dont like being under calories, so far, dont want my body to go into starvation thinking.

    But I did get 20 mins of cardio on the day already so that is nice.

    I appreciate all the good thoughts for my friends family, plans have now changed and they are sending her to Minneapolis, so hopefully this will work out for her.

    Well better run lunch is almost ready and I still need to vaccum before dd gets up from her nap.

    walked 15600 steps today. thats 7.40 miles of so! All during work! Also have received compliments every single day from the surgeons. It's amazing. I;m not sure what is happening but I'm thankful! Keep praying that I'll continue to do well!

    gotta run. 40 mins to study then sleep!

    I LOST A POUND!!! This is amazing to me because of how yucky physically I've been feeling, not exercising, and not logging food (although not necessarily eating bad). Of course, I weighed in after the gym which is usually less. But this was after breakfast and water. I decided to count it as it was motivating and inspiring to keep going forward. Heck, I'd even be happy if it stayed the same next week.

    Amy S (bahamom87)..........How are you feeling these days? You aren't posting as much. I'm hoping it's just because you are chasing your little one around. We miss you!

    Kristin (kistinbee).................Hope the weather has cleared up for you. Graduation time and end of school year parties can mess with any diet. The good news is that it happens in the summertime so we can get out and work those extra yummy calories off.

    Tracy ( frogy_98) ................. So sorry to hear about your friend's family situation. I think there is no worse fear than a parent having a sick child. I hope they find the right doctor who can find an easy and safe diagnosis and she has a quick recovery.

    Kel (redneckwoman)..........Great job on the weight loss!!! Awesome.

    Well, I decided to keep it real and step on the scale this morning as I felt like I got a "false positive" weighing in after the gym yesterday. Lo and behold, i was 141.4 lb :noway: :noway: :noway: half a lb less than my weigh in yesterday. Little happy dance. I honestly think it's the Wellbutrin. Altho I have to keep my edginess in check, I have had more consistent energy rather than lows and highs, and have been eating 3 healthy meals a day without any need for snacking. Oh yeah, also cut down severely on my coffee intake. I'm sure once it gets in my system completely, everything will level out. But altho I had massive cramps yesterday, I seem to be having "normal" pre TOM symptoms rather than anything dramatic. Maybe my hubby was right and it is somewhat psychosomatic? We will see. Whatever it is, I'll take it happily.

    My DH also bought me seven CASES of water to keep me in good supply so I have no excuses. He's so awesome!!!

    Well, now that you guys have distracted me enough, :wink: , time to get back to work. Hope to hear from you all soon during this busy season of fun in the sun.

    Well...I blew it on calories last night! BUMMER! Michael wanted pizza and I totally over did it! But I did get in a run with Kadence, so I won't beat myself up too much! Today will be better!

    No time to post much now...another busy day and I'm taking tomorrow off, so you may not see much of me until next Monday! Hope you are all doing great! And let's all have a FABULOUS weekend!!!

    Cathy - Hope you have a great day and nice start with going to the gym!

    Kristin - No worries at least you got a run in, we all need those nights and it is really hard with a husband and kid to not have a night like that. Just remember today is a new day!

    AFM: Today is starting on a high note, I have been really good for two days now with both calories and excersice so I am proud of myself, plus my calories have been healthy calories for the most part. I want to continue the work today, so I am going to make sure and hit the store for some more healthy snacks. Plus anytime I am wanting something to do while watching T.V. I remind myself to get up and pack a box instead of eat something. I am really bad about mindless eating while watching T.V. This is a habit I am trying to break, plus the urge to reach for something sweet to finish off a meal. Those are my two major down falls with food.

    Well enough about that hope to have a busy day, the speech therapist gave us lots to work on with Abby and we are hoping the rain will go away so we can get outside and run some errands.

    Whoo hoo!!! Finally a loss!!! It's not much, but considering I haven't been doing well on watching what I eat, I'm happy with it!

    I also ran a quarter of a mile nonstop 2 days in a row!!! And I think I have a new addiction. At least it's a good one! Running in light rain. It rained here a lot last week, and I was loving the running!!

    Things have been extremely busy here. Today is the kids' last day of school. I can't believe that this afternoon, I will have a rising 1st grader and a rising 2nd grader! :sad:

    went to the gym. a nice workout.

    feeling really bloated and puffy today. had a bunch of cookies last night. that could be why. haven't had that much crap in awhile. even my sugars were high this morning. pushing the water. need to make a good bathroom stop (might have to take something).

    ate this afternoon, than stopped myself. pigged out on watermelon, now feeling really crappy.

    need to find something to do to work this through.
