Hi guys! What kind of music is everyone listening to?
I'm creating a new playlist for the gym-looking for ideas for fast-paced beats for a cardio workout. I love everything so no suggestions are off limits!! Plus we can all share ideas.
Using Pandora stations now: Pop & hip hop power workout radio and Rob Zombie radio

I used to listen to the Volbeat station on Pandora, but I switched to The Offspring station.

I do mostly classic rock with some other stuff mixed in. Here are a few currently in my heavy rotation that you might enjoy:

    ACDC - Shoot to Thrill
Fall Out Boy - Light Em Up/My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark
    MIA - Bad Girls
    Runaways - Cherry Bomb
    Pat Benetar - Heartbreaker
Queen - Don't Stop Me Now
    Chumbawumba - Tubthumping
    Sound of Guns - Sometimes
Caesars - Kick You Out and Let the Sunshine In

And for moments where I need or want to feel particularly awesome, Preliator by Globus.

I am a Pit Bull fan. His music and the other songs that come up on the Pandora station I built is awesome. I confession, I might have sung out loud once or twice. Oh and on my runs outside...yeah totally sang out loud.

Just started listening to Pitbull and Lady Gaga, among others recently. Needed some new workout music so I went to the library and checked out all of the Now that what I call music cds. Was pleasantly surprised how much I didn't hate most of the stuff on them.

I just added a bunch of Junksista & Ayria into my standard industrial/futurepop tracks. I've got a 64GB card in my phone that's now full. *eek* I just put the whole library on shuffle while on the treadmill, skipping through per my pacing. On straight lifting days, I've been listening to whole albums. My current favorite is Die Antwoord and/or Suicidal Tendencies.

I love working out to GirlTalk, anything from "All Day". Other than that, I listen to a ton of Strome and old-school Daft Punk. All great for getting that heart rate up.

Oh! And Adam Lambert. I like to pretend that if I run hard enough, he'll become straight. Hasn't worked so far...

When I would listen to my iPod my go-to, bang out one more mile songs were:
New Found Glory - Hit or Miss
Coheed & Cambria - A Favor House Atlantic
    AFI - Girl's Not Grey

I listen to the 'Pop & HipHop Power Workout' station on Pandora too. And, maybe it's just mine, but it plays so much Pitbull that I've actually been basing my bike workouts around it. Every time a song comes on that Mr. 305 is on, crank the resistance. When he raps pedal as fast as I can. It sounds funny until you're about 20 minutes into a workout...

    Amazing - Kanye West
    Hey Brother - Avicii
    Robocop - Kanye West
Larger than Life - Backstreet Boys
I Will Never Let You Down - Rita Ora
    Get Me Bodied - Beyoncé
    Break - Shinedown
If You Only Knew - Shinedown
    Blow - Beyoncé
    Fergalicious - Fergie
Lose My Breathe - Destiny's Child
    We Found Love - Rihanna
    Maneater - Nelly Furtado
    Pompeii - Bastille
Give It Away - Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Safe & Sound - Capital Steps
    Moonshine - Bruno Mars
    Heart Attack - Demi Lovato
    Boom Clap - Charli XCX
    Animals - Maroon 5
    Rude Boy - Rihanna
I See Fire - Ed Sheeran
Bang Bang - Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj
A Sky Full of Stars - Coldplay

I remember looking this up on google once and I don't know if you'd be interested but if you type in something like cardio playlist or something it comes up with a playlist of songs, their times and bpm for different parts of your workout to optimise it with music.

Am I the lone Spotify-er here? I have a long workout playlist but Spotify also has some good ones. I'm currently into their "Night Run" playlist.

I think "Get Me Bodied" is the ultimate cardio song of all time. I haven't listened to it in ages but sometimes the line, "cool off cool off" still pops into my head when I'm sweaty :)

And I love Wings by Little Mix (kind of a chick song I think <g>)

.... This will probably get me judged, BUT

I'll make a man out of you from Mulan... That song always gives me the motivation for that final push.
