Eating is ruining my life

    i just got back from the doctor. he gave me meds for acid reflux. hopefully my appetite will be back soon!

    My brother had a similar problem, perhaps for a different reason, but saw a doctor who referred him to psych thinking possible eating disorder and was diagnosed bipolar. He is taking medications, and now sleeps and eats on a regular schedule. He now actually feels hunger rather than forcing himself to eat. If he wasn't careful before he could go a day or two without eating and not even notice, until he'd get really dizzy. He would also stay awake a day or two at a time due to his condition. Now he actually comments on being hungry, and wants to eat a variety of foods. I hope you find the answer you are looking for. I know my brother struggled for many years before getting help.
