Hi everyone!

Starting a new challenge tomorrow...3 goals for the next 3 days. It's short, sweet, and totally do-able. You pick your own 3 goals to meet for each day for the next 3 days.

Mine are 1) Logging 100%
2) Exercise for at least 30 minutes every day
3) Get up and move for at least 5 minutes every hour (I have a sedentary job)

What will YOURS be??!!

Welcome!

It looks like you're new here. Sign in or register to get started.

I like this challenge, and I need something to motivate me! Here are mine:

    1. No wine. This will be a tough one, I have book club tomorrow night and there will be wine available.
    2. Get at least 10,000 steps each day. Another tough one, I am an accountant and am sitting the majority of the day.
    3. Get a least a half hour of some type of exercise each day.

The first one will be the hardest for me...there are some people at book club that drive me to drink!!!!

    Thanks for the idea!

@rmd0228 If i have enough calories I may let myself have a glass of wine tomorrow night and not feel guilty. I just want to make sure I keep it to one!!!! Sometimes after that first glass you forget about good goals and have that second or third glass that blows all your good work away.

The way I see it, is that I can do ANYTHING for 3 days. Even if I don't like it. First day I'm excited, 2nd day I may not want to, but I'm already a third of the way there, and the 3rd day makes me a winner!

    Hi @Handfull1959!
    Happy to have you!
You can do ANYTHING for 3 days. Make a decision. That's all you have to do. Then follow thru. You decide when to go to bed, and then you follow thru. You decide to shower, and then you do it. See?! You CAN do this!!

Tomorrow is Day 1 and I'm PUMPED!

I'll be in!!!! This is perfect for me. I love instant gratification and I think a three day challenge will work. I will work out 2 of the days (work 12hrs the other day), log every day and schedule my food one day in advance to avoid eating foods that will make me go over my calories.

Love the idea of a 3 day challenge :)
    1. Log in every day
    2. 30 min work out and stretching
    3. No caffeine or Alcohol
Number 3 will be tough, I love coffee!!!
And I'm a Bartender, so I'm always around people drinking. But I am very proud to say, I have been off redbull for over 2 months :) I use to drink 2-4 red bulls a night at work.

@vanillaorange2...omg that's a lot of redbull! I used to work at TGI Friday's so I get where you're coming from on the alcohol and caffeine lol. I'm glad you found us and want to join!

Yes I have serious goes cuz I love challenges and prove to myself that I can do it .. I'm glad that you make us more motivated by having this great suggestion ^_^

@Salem291...awwww thank you! You and I are similar. I hate to lose. At anything, to anyone, including myself lol. I will accept a challenge that I think will be difficult, but I try not to set myself up for failure by accepting a challenge that I know instinctively is impossible. But here's the thing...impossible is never really impossible. It might be something I can't do at the moment, but I promise I'll make it happen at some point!

I did well with my previous goals  My new goals
    1. Eat a real meal for dinner as opposed to snacking. Bulk meal prep from today should help with that goal.
    2. Start working out in the morning so my workouts are spread out more and I can go a bit harder.
    3. Ballet Beautiful dvd three days in a row with hopefully less cussing :p

@Virkati Are you open to us creating a group on the site? I know it would make it easier for me to find the group and stay updated. Sometimes I get swamped with notifications and I miss posts.
