Intro to MFP

I have been actively on mfp for 4 days now- going to the gym and counting calories. My goal is to lose at least 20 pounds by June, my anniversary and be down to 150 by next winter for our warm destination vacation with the kids. I've lost a few pounds already and am motivated...
- I joined mfp several years ago when my dad had a stroke and I started to work out a lot to get my mind off of the sickness. I had lost several sizes and felt as my dad's health improved I no longer needed to go to the gym and watch what I ate... Needless to say I and now 175 pounds and feel sluggish and refuse to buy any larger size clothes. I'm only 5'4" so it's a lot on my body and my knees!!

I know what you mean - I am only 5'2", and weigh 174.
