    Looks like I'll be able to knock this goal out in the next week with just another long ride. Not bad for starting a third of the way through the month!

    June Goal: 75 miles

    June 24---6.25mi (30 min stationary)
    June 21---15 mi (75 min stationary)

    6/1 - 5 miles.
    6/2 - 5 miles.
    6/3 - 5 miles.
    6/4 - 5 miles.
    6/5 - 5 miles. 92 degrees. Nearly didn't make it. Need to make adjustments because dying on mile-4 would kind of defeat the point of riding.
    6/6 - 5 miles and then 1 mile later for 6 miles total for today.
    6/7 - 5.4 miles.
    6/8 - 5 miles. And, 1.5 miles for 6.5 total.
    6/9 - 6.5 miles total.
    6/10 - 5.7 miles total.
    6/11 - 5 miles in 99 degree heat. Ugh.
    6/12 - 2.7 miles.
    6/13 - 6 miles. (1 mile on new stationary bike and 5 miles outside near dusk.)
    6/14 - 5.3 miles.
    6/15 - 5 miles. It's soooo hot outside (I'm heat intolerant and will ride inside for the summer when I get back from my trip).
    6/16 - 2.5 miles.
    6/17 - 1 mile. On the road right now. Hoping nobody steals my bike off the back of my car overnight.
    6/18 - 3 miles, but it was really hard. I'm not used to hills. Ugh.
    6/19 - 6.2 miles. I'm really glad I brought my bike with me.
    6/20 - 4 miles.
    6/21 - 5 miles.
    6/22 - Day off. (12.5 hours of driving!)
    6/23 - Rest day.
    6/24 - Really didn't want to ride (fatigue), but made myself go 5 miles.

    Have had a few days of not feeling well. I really need another couple of big days to make my gaol now...
  • Goal is 500 miles.

    445.6 so far. 19 more in the morning and 65 on Saturday should get it. :-)

    Averaged 17.53 mph so far. Been consistently over 18 the last week. Climbed 18,126 ft of elevation.

    Not going to meet goal this month =( I have been soooo sick for the last two weeks I and have been pretty much bed ridden, so no exercise has gotten done.

    Looks like 24 miles is where I will end the month. In for July challenge and actually meeting the goal this time

    11.68 miles this morning! Will get in a few more tonight....maybe 6 or 7,,,,,, as of now I am 56.88 miles from my goal of 100 miles in 8 days!

    Not sure I actually set a June cycling goal, but I have been combining one longish ride (28 to 35 miles) with 1 to 2 shorter rides (12 to 18 miles) per week. All in all, a pretty decent June, given the unseasonably cold weather. Now that things are starting to improve, no reason not to step it up. Maybe bump up mileage in July by 30 to 40% per week, and also plan at least one ride close to 50 miles by the end of the month, maybe a metric century if I am up to it.
