Turning 50 this year and putting on weight

Hi,I know what you mean,I am 52 and it's a lot harder to lose,I think due to hormones,I am on meds so harder still. Best of luck to you. I am finding it hard to connect here,no one is writing back to me

Hello! I'm turning 50 this year as well. I have found that I have to be even more active than I was ten years ago to achieve the same success. I love it though because it's keeps me trying new things!!!

Thanks for replying. It's my first week getting my eating under control. My co workers love to Sabatage me. I am going to do the 28 days of squats. Starting today

Hi ladies.. saw your posts and just wanted to pop in and say welcome to MFP.. and to let you know there are lots of groups for women 50+ on MFP you might want to check out a few to see if connecting with others our age and at the same "life experiences" stage works for you.... it can be a little overwhelming when you first start off on the site, so here's a couple of links to existing ones but there are loads out there - use the search feature with keywords like "women" "ladies" "50" or whatever else you'd like to find them, or search the "popular" group lists in the communities as well.. congrats on making the decision to make the rest of your life, the best of your life and welcome to MFP!
