Insanity Day 14 (w/pics)

Actually it isn't day 14, but I am rounding up. This is day one and day 12. I am not following the program to a tee because I am missing a few DVD's, I am not following the diet Shaun T suggests (though I am going to try to eat a little better through the program for better results, but I pretty much eat whatever I want and have through my entire weight loss journey). I had my daughter in January 2013, and did 30 Day Shred, then 40 minutes of cardio, then 60, and in last month I sort of got lazy, didn't log everything, and lost interest so I started Insanity. I have already went from 5'8" 144lbs to 142lbs. I have lost about a half an inch from every where. Here is my blog with all of my progress http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/SerenaFisher and my food journal is public as well. I have to admit I am impressed with this work out, it is very tough, but very effective.

That's damn impressive! There is definitely a difference especially your butt.
I'm moving onto week 2 tomorrow, and if my results are anywhere near yours I'll be very happy indeed!0 -
I have to say, your booty has really responded well! LOL
Wonderful work! I always think it's amazing how quickly the body can react to serious change. Your back looks great as well. Keep it up!0 -
Thanks. I was impressed I knew the work out was tough but I was still surprised that the resulted were that quick0

Looks exactly the same.0

Wow!!! Can really tell the difference in the butt! Great job!0

Looks exactly the same.
-2lbs
-.5" all over (half inch in some places)
Around .25% BF drop. but I guess if you really aren't looking or reading it is the same. Measuring tapes do not lie.0 -

You really expect 2 lbs and .5 inch to show up on a picture? Somebody is just looking for attention, Imo.0 -
I don't mean to be rude but I honestly think you looked much sexier on day one.0

Great, but you are skinny already to begin with hun; is this for toning?0

I could have posted day 1 of my journey 165lbs two week after baby and then posted day 14 of insanity and show all of my hard work but that wasn't the point. The point is insanity works and the measurement and changes (no matter how slight and xonaidering time frame) are undeniable
I doing insanity to be more fit and get to my goal body fat. Also to get rid of the leftover mommy figure in lower belly from baby #2. I am skinny. I am fit. But I want to be fitter and eventually be a beach body coach. I also plan on doing hip hop abs and 090x though I have heard insanity is much harder.0 -

I dont understand all the negetive comments, the girl looks great! I think its jealousy.
Anyways, I can definatly see changes. Your booty looks more lifted and your waist is more defined. Keep it up and congrats on the new baby0 -

I did skim through her blog so she certainly has come a ways after having a baby! Good job OP!0 -
Thank you. I was 190lbs January 13, 2013. Hen 165lbs a week after baby girl. When I started working out it was very hard. I did 30 day shred and level one was something I almost couldn't complete. I am very proud of how far I have come, eating whatever I want within reason and what not.
gotta love babies they change everything.0 -

isn't anyone who posts a progress picture on here?
that doesn't mean that its a bad thing or something to be looked down upon or criticized for. we're all working out *kitten* off (figuratively and literally in some cases) to look better and some times it feels damn good to get feedback from others. i know at the end of almost every day i look in the mirror and think that nothing has changed. sometimes the validation of others seeing a difference is what motivates you to keep going. no need for negativity.
and i can definitely see a difference in the butt area...keep it up girl.0 -

Awesome job on your behind and stomach.
I'm jealous
And simply WOW on the fact that you had a baby and you are rocking that kind of stomach!!!!

Bitter, party of one? Sheesh. :grumble:
You have every right to post this, OP. Even though you were pretty fit to begin with, there are definitely some noticeable changes. You look awesome. :drinker:0 -

@natasa thanks. I had my first baby 10 years ago (almost) and my body responded much better. My 2nd baby was bigger though and my abs are still not as strong As they were. I am very fit. Actually have a athletes heart rate (56BPM) all thanks to cardio0 -
Well done! I can definitely see the difference in the butt area. Also, love your attitude.0

Hey! You look great. I'm on day 14 today but decided to take pictures on day 30 :-) you look awesome! ESP the butt area! I hope I get results like these :-)
As for the negative comments people need to grow up! I'm shocked that people can be sooooo petty and bitter! If you don't like the post then get the f@!k out!0 -
@supahstar thank you. I love insanity, I can barely breathe at times haha.
@luls thankies! I am hoping to have more definition in my back next time but yeah the buttocks is much more lifted (my jeans agree haha) glad you like my attitude
@stacw I took the pics for my blog (doing pic updates with fit test results) every two weeks and was going to post one update to this forum each month but I was so Hally with the results and figured I would find fellow insanity peeps ( like you lol)
My blog also has my various pre baby jeans and goals to fit back into them. I find blogging motivates me to have results (especially with pics). And like I said I did not follow the diet or meals at all. I am eating a lot of processed foods because I have very limited money for budget.0 -

But, for what it's worth, I admire and respect how you handle yourself in this thread. I think that's a community success.
I love your response to the accusation that you're looking for attention ("Yes I am.") as well as your recognizing that people have different perspectives/preferences.
I wish more threads/OPs would go this route when people are critical. Criticism is precisely as meaningful as we make it.0
