The number of asterisks confused me. But I never use the word either so it didn't come to mind.

Yes! I am slow at walking, reading, eating, doing most tasks. Always been that way. I've attributed it to anxiety, but it's probably just how we're "wired".0

No, but I know someone who is. I spend a lot of time waiting for her.
Anyway, there are worse things.0 -
yes, I feel slow these days... even though my weight loss has been slow I have less energy and sometimes just go along a bit slower than I might if I wasn't dieting. I think it's my body's way of trying to conserve calories, putting me into hibernation mode.0

Some people just seem to be slower at things than others. I tend to walk faster than most people (except if I'm in big heels!!), while some people just seem (to me) to be doddling along. In my job, some people do 2-3 appointments less than I do and still have a hard time finishing on time despite them having done this job for more or the same amount of years as I have (and my results are the same or better in quality).
It's just the way some people are and isn't necessarily good or bad depending on what it is a person is slower at.0 -
Does it count whether I have coffee in the system or not? Because my brain hurts a but from reading this thread and have yet to drink my first one this morning.
I'm in the gelato group since forever but haven't even posted there yet. It feels like Pandora's box for me and have to stabilise my ice cream eating a bit first.
The flouncer without announcement was weird though, usually it is all so kaboom and stuff.0 -
No. I'm slow too. I couldn't keep up with billy blanks' tapes..

No, it's not just you I find that when I was 60 lbs lighter I moved faster and I'm 45 years old and it depends on what you mean by older. Because younger people for the most part will always move faster, so if your job is comparing you to them it's nothing you can do about that. I feel with a little practice you could get a bit faster, but some people are faster then others. I took a baking course years ago and was thinking of working in a bakery until I learned I would have to work and move faster than I ever could plus it wouldn't help the pounds on my bottom line.
Best of luck to you and take it one step and move at a time0 -
This thread leaves me with one burning question
