How is everyone logging their HIIT workouts?

    Calisthenics / circuit training / aerobics, depending on the workout.

    I made a new exercise named HIIT, and log what my HRM tells me I burned.

    Same except I don't know what calisthenics is so either circuit training if weights are involved or aerobics otherwise.

    OH and then take 40-50% of the calories MFP wants to give you for the workout.

    Calisthenics covers most bodyweight exercises (push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, etc.). There's some overlap with aerobics, of course. Flip a coin, not like there's a huge amount of difference in the burn anyhow.
