1000 calories is about 10 miles of running for me.0

wait you want to burn another 1000 on top of a previous burn? what was the previous burn?
i think you are way overestimating calories burned here….0 -
You could run an hour and a half at a 6mile/hr pace. I believe that's approximately 1K calories.0

Do what now? I guess some people know how to get those burns. Not I.0

Isn't a half hour of moderate cycling about 400?0
-
No, I just worked lol0

For me, I would say 300 calories tops. Possibly 250.

Y only 1000? Y not burn 2000 before bed?0

Do burpees until you throw up. Tons of exercise calories burned plus recent food calories removed. its a win win.0

I cycle almost everyday while wearing a heart rate monitor and am only able to burn around 450 in a 45 minute spin class that is very intense. For reference I am 5'2 and 160 lbs. my max heart rate is usually around 175 or so. I would say 400 for half an hoe of moderate cycling is a big over estimate (also depends on your fitness level).0

Burpees suck, almost all of the calories I would burn doing that would be throwing up.0

Why do you need such a high calorie burn?0

About 1 hour of intense/hilly mountain biking (night riding is awesome!!)0

that seems unlikely0 -

Yeah, this ^^^. You only ATE 1,000 calories today (which, is another problem in itself--why so low? Completely and unnecessarily aggressive).0 -
Here is one calculator I use: http://prod.bicycling.com/training-nutrition/training-fitness/cycling-calories-burned-calculator
I'm about 300 pounds. The info I got on here said about 400 too depending on speed?0 -
eat less and work out tomorrow.0

About the same for me.
Or around 100 minutes doing intervals (hard work!) on the stationary bike while watching TV.
No quick way to burn 1000 calories, OP.

O.O Are you trying to burn off all the calories you ate? You know that's unhealthy.0 -

Oh wow, I didn't see her diary. ^This.
Just for your info (and for any lurkers), MFP is based on the NEAT Method. Basically, it gives you a calorie goal set at a deficit (if you chose to lose weight) and you NET that amount (meaning you eat exercise calories back).

ETA: You can choose to eat 1/2 of the exercise calories back if you are going by MFP's calculations. For some of the exercises, it can be a bit exaggerated.0 -

From the looks of her diary she did a custom goal of 1000 calories.
Her total calories for the day are 1473 of which 473 was earned through exercise.

I stand corrected.
Eat a moderate amount and work out in a manner that's sustainable rather than trying to work off every bite you intake. That is indeed unhealthy.
at 300 pounds- eating at a slight calorie deficit and go for a walk will be more than sufficient for the next 100+ pounds.0 -

I'm assuming you are on a spin type or stationary bike. I think that calculator is meant for an outdoor ride.
I know there is a big difference in effort between my outdoor rides and my indoor trainer even if manage to maintain the same speed.0 -
