    Let me preface my post by saying that I am a geek, so I am going to share with you what I do. It's not hard and creates some good music to listen to when I am running or working out. I found a free program called BPM Analyzer (link below):

    I analyzed my entire music collection using this free software and then I setup Smart Playlists in Itunes for different BPM ranges. I have 80-100, 100-120, 120-140, 160+ .

    I read about this on some post somewhere and have used it for about two years now. Hope this helps someone else.

    Sounds like great idea. I jumped on the elliptical the other day and the first song that came on my playlist was Rise by Pantera. I almost died.
