It's too bad we can't edit after the first hour. It would keep the board a lot shorter. Anyway:

    Weight lost/gained this week: -2
    Weight lost/gained this month: -2

Successes/struggles this week: As I mentioned in my newsfeed, I've had the weekend compounded by being snowed in for 2 days with hubby the bad influence. The fact that I lost 2 pounds...kind of a miracle. Now, however, my son visits from California tonight for a few days. If I make it to next Sunday without backsliding past my March 1 starting weight, I'll count it as a victory.

Tomorrow, I buy a new scale. My current one weighs only in half pound increments. I want one that does in tenths.

Weight lost/gained this week: Lost 6 lbs
Weight lost/gained this month: Lost 6 lbs

    Successes/struggles this week:
    a) I stayed under my calories all days except one
    b) Some days my fat grams were used up by lunch so I ate below the recommended calories as outlined by MFP.
    c) I love Pizza! You cannot just grab a slice where I live, unlike where I was raised. So we order a whole pizza and eat too much. I will try a little restraint this week or next.
    d) I have found that planning meals, having healthy low fat snacks at work, and tracking my caloric intake on MFP makes this a little easier for me - not that I don't dream of all the "good stuff".
    e) I'm looking forward to adding exercise to my program this week. I'm happy with my results this week - but I realize future weeks will not be this good without exercise.

Wishing us all a highly successful week!

Struggles or successes of your week:
This was a horrible week. I returned to old lifestyle choices that increased my stress. This resulted in returning to old habits of binging stress away. Late night fast food runs, over eating. I have been really discouraged this week and have really not been able to see past current stressful situations to see those long term goals.

I will remain strong. My mantra for the week:

"There is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, or smarter. Everything is within. Everything exists. Seek nothing outside of yourself."

    Height: 5'7"

    Start Weight (26th February): 235.6lbs
Goal Weight (1st April): 228lbs (aiming for a bit fewer loss in pounds than I'd like because of grad school)

    Successes/struggles this week:
-Struggles: well, I gained a pound and only made it to the gym once and next week is going to be a struggle just to stay above water in terms of scheduling...
-Successes: I'm going to look on the bright side and comment on the fact that last night I started really stressing over a quiz but I managed not to go raid my kitchen for every sweet junk food there possibly could be and instead drank a full bottle of water. And today, after a slap in the face of a quiz where I discovered I studied all the wrong material I went to the store and wasn't interested/feeling like I HAD to have more junk food/candy/sweets, instead I bought peppers, cucumbers, broccoli and milk. The most unhealthy things I bought were slices of cheddar cheese and a box of Lean Pockets. I also managed to avoid having to buy one of the triple chocolate cookies at the campus coffee shop that have become my weakness recently.

So in short a small win despite gaining a pound. Hopefully I can get myself to stop stress eating and convert stress eating into going to the gym when I'm stress.

Future you are human like the rest of us. So very proud of you fit your healthy choices. With repetition they will become habit. GOOD ON YOU!

Great work on the self control! I find it the hardest part.

I really struggled this week. I gained, unfortunately. I always end up sabotaging myself and I'm sick of it. As soon as I lose weight and get excited, I fall right back into my old habits. All I can do is take things one day at a time. I think I'm putting too much pressure on myself by creating long-term goals that feel so far away. From now on, I am only going to focus on daily goals.

Keep your head up. Great idea to focus on daily goals, don't worry your long term goals will grow from there.

Successes/struggles this week: Feel good that despite a grueling work schedule, I kept up on cardio work and ate well on all the days planned. Finally had to break down and actually buy a second round of smaller clothes as much of my first round is now too big ... an amazing feeling of success. This drop has finally put me to the top end of normal BMI and a -80 milestone (my original GW) is only a few pounds away now. Revamping my overall goal to another -10, and then hoping to add some lean mass thereafter ... at least that is my current plan. Hoping to keep it up strong this coming week as my busy schedule continues.

I still don't have much of a network on here, so happy to receive any adds :)

Excellent work Bob! Needing to buy smaller clothes is a great achievement.

Don't get discouraged staying under your calories and working out is a great accomplishment in itself. Remember you could be gaining muscle at the same time which wont reflect on the scale. Perhaps also measure your waist once and week as you may see progress there, this keeps me motivated.
