Successes this week: Still doing a great job resisting temptations! This week we had a yummy Mexican catered lunch and 2 (!!) cakes. I fully enjoyed my lightened up Mexican lunch and no cake and didn't feel weighed down like everyone else! Last night we went to a fun upscale sports bar with sinfully delicious food. My friends ordered pizza, fancy and delicious tater tots, and other goodies, my boyfriend had chicken and waffles, and I had...a beet salad! Only one beer for me as well. My salad was small, but I was proud of my choices. I do not need to eat to have fun! That is my new mantra.
Also have to mention that I hit my 20 lb goal this week (162)! I'm not sure what my ultimate goal weight is, but I'm guessing that I am close to half way there now
Struggles this week: Just like last week, working out has been a struggle for me this week. I skipped three days and on Friday reached out to my boyfriend and MFP friends for help. I was going to get started back on Saturday but decided on Friday, no, today is still in my control so I did my video Friday evening. It is amazing how much harder it is (physically not mentally) to work out in the evening, and I struggled HARD. It was terrible but I am proud of myself for doing it. This week I am back and WILL wake up every morning and just do it!!!0 -

After struggling with a very bad knee all week which scuppered my exercise plan I'm pleased to announce a great weight loss this week, probably my best ever since my first week.
WATER ! I challenged myself this week to drink 5 x 0.5 litres of water (plus a couple of cups of tea) every day. I filled the bottles in the morning and put them in the fridge and endeavoured to drink them all. Well. It looks like it has helped a lot with my weight loss. I'm doing the same this week and still can't exercise so hope it has another positive effect.

Have pushed through the minus 80 pounds barrier thus far with this weigh-in. Not quite as big of a loss as I had hoped, but still progressing and coming to terms that it likely get a little tougher near the end, and then a whole new battle will unfold.
Very happy with my running progress and often excited to actually go do it. Nasty weather has made it tough some days though with a wet, stormy pattern finally returning to the NW coast and the thought of willingly going back outside (after working in it most days) in 40 degree, wind-swept downpours has been tough. The feeling of satisfaction when I have done so though has definitely been worth it!0 -

Struggles this week: 7lbs on after a weekend in barcelona. Now I know I over ate, but 7lbs!!! . And even two days later it's not come off, so its not water weight. Back to the beginning. I doubt I'll meet my March goal weight now.
