Not necessarily. I stipulated a 1lb a week intended loss and MFP automatically set my daily limit as 1200. But I can never eat that little - most days I'll eat back at least half my exercise calories or I get too hungry.
Fair comment, being short and light will get you the same problem.0 -

I lift for an hour 3 days a week and do an hour or hard cardio 3 days a week. Plus some walks. Not that much really.<10 hours per week including walking.0 -
I'm currently ~1200 daily, but I've been advised to bump it up to a little over 1700 because of my age and activity level. I've always had issues losing weight because I'm quite short, so losing even a pound takes what feels like an eternity x _ x0

I eat about 1850/day. I lift heavy 3x a week, run trails about 30 minutes 2x a week, plus a few walks here and there. I'm focusing on body recomposition. I don't weigh or even measure myself anymore. I just go by how my clothes fit and how I look in the mirror.0

I'm on 1430 cals a day.That's without adding exercise.Not in good enough health to be doing heavy duty exercising,so mine is mostly interval walking.So far,I'm not hungry between meals,so guess it.s working for me.0

I eat anywhere from 1700-1900 every day.. Probably more like 2200 on the weekends0
