My daughter and I are going to go horseback riding at a place near here. According to their website, you have to be under a certain weight to ride their horses. I am already well under that weight, but still holding off until I hit my goal weight...maybe a bit sooner. :)
  • I have a bucket list waiting but can't or won't do due to my weight. But my rewards are on that list. Also knowing I conquered the battle is a reward in itself. Lol. Plus shopping for smaller sizes is also another reward. Right?!?!

For me, it's a May 1st trip to Hilton Head for a ladies long weekend. 4.6lbs to go to "bathing suit" comfort weight.

Buying new clothes and a damn good meal(anything that includes ribs, pizza, carrot cake, or pasta).

None. My improved health and the weight loss alone are suffiient. I might think of soemthing when I get there, such as a binge or some item, but it doesnt motivate me. If it works for you though, then use it.

I've had little rewards along the way - cute socks, earbuds. When the weather gets nicer, I'd like to take a picnic to a state park & go for a nice hike, someplace I've never been.

When I hit 100 lb down, a friend is buying me a massage.

When I get to my goal weight (at least 110 lb down) I'm going to get some new clothes of course, but most especially a couple nice sets of undies.

I'd love to have the money for cosmetic surgery to finish off 3 particular places, get rid of the loose skin & some remaining flab. :sigh: I've read that I should give it a year after reaching goal & my skin will shrink some. So maybe in that time I can get a job & save money for surgery.

I have smaller rewards along the way (new dress, mani/pedi, date night) but my big reward is my thigh tattoo that I am getting when I reach my goal.

A hot body should pretty much be its own reward!

I have some 1940s and 50s dress patterns that I want to make, but not until I get to my goal size.

If I can reach my goal weight, I'm "upgrading" my wedding ring to be a constant reminder! Also, babies :). Want to be a fit mom when it's finally that time.

    Not "if" but when!!!

I am going to invest the money in getting the spider veins in my legs fixed when I reach my goal. I haven't been motivated to do it before because it is mostly cosmetic and when I am heavy, I don't want to wear anything that shows my legs anyway. As I lose weight and get fit, I am looking forward to wearing shorts and dresses again.

A new wardrobe and eventually a tattoo. The first because I don't want to dress like a bag lady after working so hard XD and the second because I didn't want the tattoo to stretch/shrink until I'd gotten my health and fitness underway.

Every ten pounds I bought myself a gift, my final one was cutting all my hair off. Because I prefer short hair and has grown my long to hide the roundness of my face. It was liberating.

For Christmas, I bought my husband some gift cards to a b&b we love. I told him we could use them once I get to my goal weight (which was my pre baby weight from 2 years ago.) He was already supportive of my goals but now he's extra motivated to help me. ;) 5ish lbs left!

I'm doing a 9 week workout program right now, and I'm thinking that when I'm done, I'll treat myself to a mani/pedi/massage at a spa. I've never had a pedicure or massage and I figure my body could use the pampering :)
