gpstreet your "fine start" reminds me of my first day too ;)

My first day of logging started well with a gym visit, I logged my breakfast and later got a call from a good friend inviting me out to lunch. There was no way I wasn't going because I hadn't seen this friend for a few months since she'd moved away, and it was likely to be months before we'd be able to meet up again. Lunch was at her favourite steak restaurant (where I did not forgo the steak in favour of a salad). Enjoyed every bite and glass of wine and logged it all as best I could - first day, calorie target blown even taking exercise calories into account.

I'm still here a year later and close to my goal now. You'll be fine :)

You can't fix ugly. Good luck on dropping some weight.

I've always heard "you can't fix stupid". Ugly would be more of a subjective description.

problem is most stupid people do not realise they are stupid. The fact is, we are all stupid because there are always areas in where we can improve our brains.

"But I don't feel fat" I replied to the doctor.
I cannot say I trusted the doctor all that much so I asked for a second opinion.
"You are ugly aswell" the doctor replied.

Well maybe the conversation with my doctor didn't quite go like that but one thing that did come out of my bi-annual health check was I needed to lose a little weight.

It has been a lofty goal of mine to drop from 88kg to below 79kg. I have to admit that this desire has been with me for twenty years.

    88kg? ...if you're 6'2 that's within your BMI range

maybe you should just strive to be 6'2?

Hope you enjoyed your last supper - now get down to

Reminds me of an old joke: "My weight is perfect for my height, which varies."

Apparently you gain a centimetre after a nights sleep. So maybe my BMI would be perfect if I slept all day :-)

Sure you can. Besides, ugly is in the perception. ;)
