Protein help

I don't eat a lot of protein and always feel hungry. I really only eat protein at dinner. I've set my calories at 1400 per day with more at the weekend. I do exercise but I'm likely to be up at 2000 calories 3 days at the weekend so I've counted my exercise calories into these days. I spend all day eating carbs and never hit my protein intake. I'm not a big fan of eggs. Will protein make a difference?

more than likely, yes. Protein is a huge contributor to satiety, as is adequate dietary fat. You don't have to eat eggs for protein, if you aren't a fan. There are oodles of protein sources (from meat, beans, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt - to bars, powders, supplements) Find something you like!0

Protein will help you feel more full than carbs will, and it will help you retain your muscle mass as you lose. Add in more meats, dairy products, nuts, and beans if you don't want to eat eggs.0

for me proteins helps keep me full, while carbs can give that immediate feeling of satiation. I try to skip most carbs and get protein with every meal. My go to's if I don't feel like having meat or eggs are Greek Yogurt, Cottage cheese, Milk, peanut butter, or sharp cheddar.0

My advice: focus more on fiber....this is the real deal when it comes to feel full... I am using now more salmon, avocado, brown rice, raspberries and pears0

Focus on fiber instead of protein?
Of course not. My "focus more" was related to the "feeling full" thing... Obviously you should never neglect protein, I have an intake of 130gr of protein every day but I try to get at least 35-40 gr of fiber and that helps me make me feel full..

I think focusing on protein first will do a great deal for satiety. If still hungry after getting enough protein, then address that problem when you get there.0
