What are the lowest calorie alcoholic drinks for a night out?

Trying to lose weight, eating healthy and moderate exercise.
I only weigh 124 pounds but ideally I want to be back to 115-116 pounds, I tend to drink at the weekend and think this may be my downfall.
I don't enjoy drinking and would never drink during the week but one night at the weekend I tend to go out and drink with all my friends socially.
What is the lowest calorie drink and how many should you have before it affects your weight?

Labatt 52 cal beer is what I drink when I want a brewski. All drinks have calories. I suggest putting your fav ones into myfitnesspal and see what you come up with on calories. Bars make drinks different sizes though so keep your ounces in mind. Remember these calories will be empty and offer no nutritional value and still add calories to your daily amount.

Mixed drinks: vodka, rum, etc. with diet soda. And every other drink, have a plain diet soda to space out the alcohol. You avoid getting too drunk too fast, so you can enjoy your social time, and you keep both calories and $ spent low.0

Hard liquor tends to have less calories than, say beer or wine, because you tend to drink less of it. A shot is 1.5 ounces (I think?), so a shot of, say, vodka would be around 100 calories. That's just the shot. Mind the mixers. You can rack up calories here. For real low calories, maybe try sticking with seltzer or club soda, or maybe have your rum with diet coke. I was surprised to learn that tonic water has calories, about 125 for a 12 ounce glass.
A standard glass of wine isn't too bad, either. A 5 ounce glass of chardonnay will run you around 125 calories.0 -

whatever drinks you like, just less of them.
personally, i like to keep things simple when i drink: red wine, whiskey, and beer. i prefer regular beer, as opposed to the light and low calorie stuff. i'd rather drink 1-2 full flavored pints then a half dozen watered down crap.
bonus, things like red wine, whiskey, and even beer have healthy stuff in them like anti-oxidents, which are good for you. in moderation of course.
alternate every alcoholic beverage with a water. you'll do better.0 -
Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey has about 65 calories to a 1.5 oz. shot. Vodka has about 70.0

I like flavored 0 Cal sparkling waters and vodka (80 cal). Easier for nights in rather than out at the bar though.

I used to love Long Islands but now I usually opt for Vodka Lemonades! Still has some flavor. The diet soda makes me feel incredibly bloated so I stay away from that. Around 90 calories for 8 oz.0

I will order something that I like just fine but don't love...like red wine. I can sip on a glass of red wine for hours! Or I will just order soda water, or the occasional vodka, soda with lime.0

Don't know lowest, but I stick to diet coke and light colored rum. I can literally drink all night (not that I normally do) and gain very little weight on this combo. Funny to see the looks the Bartender/waitress gives me...they are like..why do you need to lose weight? I tell them it's not to lose weight, instead it to keep me from gaining weight.0

Rum and diets are probably the easiest to get at any bar. Almost all bars have diet cola (usually coke, but some have pepsi) but not all bars will have the diet lemon-lime soda (Sprite, 7-up, etc). Or, you know, just drink diet soda without the booze. If you don't love drinking, volunteer to be DD. Some bars will even let you have soda for free if you're the DD!0

Do yourself a favor and don't drink soda OR diet soda with alcohol. The alcohol is already going to kill all the good bacteria in your gut and make you feel bad. Don't add sugar or artificial sweeteners to your ALREADY carbohydrate-overloaded alcoholic drinks! If you're mixing your own drinks at home, use only real fruit juice (sparingly), or my favorite...sparkling water/club soda. Lacroix is an awesome choice because they have all natural flavored water in every fathomable flavor. It's da bomb.
First off, drink water. Drink water before you drink alcohol. Drink water between alcoholic beverages. Drink water after your last alcoholic beverage. Drink water!!!!
If you're gonna limit your alcohol, you can either take the approach of having low calorie drinks, or simply having fewer regular drinks.
You could have a few light beers, or if it's just gonna be one drink just have ONE pint of whatever you want. I've actually heard that dark beers (stouts, porters, etc.) are easier to digest/better for you, although I don't have a source right now to substantiate that.
Or you could go for liquor. Have a vodka soda. Have a gin and tonic. Or you could have a shot of the liquor of your choice. Just don't have a tootie fruity pineapple upside down mudslide. Don't do it. It's gonna make you hate yourself.
Or you could stick to wine. Some people get headaches and allergic reactions from wine with added sulfites. Try drinking a sulfite-free wine. Overall, red wine is a better choice and is less sugary. Red wine, in moderation, is actually good for you. It contains the antioxidant Resveratrol, although if you overindulge in wine, there are side effects that outweigh the antioxidants lol.0 -

Oh, I certainly don't think that juice is a "good" choice, but it's better than a fruit cocktail with added sugars or diet/regular soda. It may have sugar, but personally, I'd rather drink real juice than diet ocean spray or something.
Why is juice better than diet/regular soda or a juice cocktail? Is there anything to support that besides what you would "rather" have?
If I am ordering appetizers, I'd rather have potato skins than, say, mozzarella sticks -- but I don't know if my preference justifies giving advice to others on what they should do.0 -

I hardly ever drink juice. Like...never. I'm just saying... if you HAVE to add juice to make a cocktail, just use the real stuff. Don't use the fake stuff with high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners/flavors, and preservatives. It'll taste better...it'll be better for you.0 -

As long as calorie deficit is maintained, why would you advise someone to avoid potato skins or mozzarella sticks? Why would that be a cheat?
I get that you're "just saying" to use juice instead of diet/regular soda or juice cocktail, but why? Tasting better is totally subjective (I like a vodka and cranberry made with Ocean Spray). And what is the evidence that consuming juice and alcohol is better for you than consuming another liquid with alcohol?
It seems like your advice is fueled by your personal preference.0 -

Skinny Girl Wine? Vodka and diet sprite? Rum and diet coke? Or just stop drinking... if it's hard to stop drinking... perhaps evaluate why...
To me, it makes no difference if I have water, diet soda, or one drink (since you can't feel it anyway) so why waste the calories? No one else cares what you're drinking so pick what actually works for you. It's even easier if you offer to be the DD.0 -
