Hi, I'm on day 3 of Keto and I'm feeling great, but I've been having serious cravings for chocolate.
I'm not a fan of sweet stuff, but Sometimes I feel like I could devour a chocolate cake or other chocolate stuff.

Have you experienced something like this? How can I replace the chocolate? Would a chocolate protein bar do the trick?

I've tried to ignore it, but it's not working :/

Thank you!

Keto 15 years, eat chocolate all the time. You need to be really careful with protein bars, some have a lot of carbs, and some have some sugar alcohols that will keep you in the bathroom for 3 days. I'd suggest holding off on those until you're fully keto adapted (give it a month or so).

As for chocolate itself - you can have dark chocolate, most people stick to 80% or higher. Don't eat half a bar, just eat a square or two, and calculate the calories with a food scale, by grams. You can also have unsweetened cocoa powder. My usual chocolate fix is taking 2T of heavy whipping cream, adding a little stevia, and a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa. Hit it with a mixer or a whisk, and you have chocolate mousse in about 2 minutes.

I'd also suggest heading here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group

People post for recipe and food ideas all the time.

Yes, please head over to the Low Carber Daily Forum where lot of low carbers hang out.

But to answer your question, if you want an actual chocolate bar you could try these:

Lily's Sweets chocolate bars and chips (I can find these online or at my grocery store)
    ChocoPerfection (online)
ChocoRite chocolate bars (I can find these online or at Walgreen's)

No sugar in any of these and no artificial sweeteners (they do have stevia and/or erythritol and/or inulin as sweeteners). I can easily fit a serving of them into my day when I want.

Any square or two of dark chocolate bar approx. 85% or higher can also probably fit into your macros, but those aren't my personal preference.

You could also look for recipes for low carb chocolate cakes, mug cakes, OMMs (one minute muffins) or MIMs (muffin in a minute). There are tons online.
