I was about 85-90 about a month ago and now average in the high 70's. I've started charting it along with my weight loss as a measure of my fitness.0

Depends on various factors... runs in the 50's at times, but is high 60's / low 70's right now (I am drinking diet Pepsi and the caffeine raises it). Average is 60's when I have a more consistent (lower) amount of caffeine in my system.0

72 but its not a true resting heart rate, ive been up for 3 hours now (i think youre supposed to do it when you FIRST wake)
its the first time ive ever checked it so i dont have anything to compare it to LOL0 -

52. I exercise pretty much every day (cardio: 30-90 minutes), but still overweight.
Unsure if that kind of information helps you with your unofficial research or not.0 -

I am not fit. Male, 5'9", 219.5 pounds, 39 years old.
My resting heart rate averages 65-72. This is a true average for all times of the day when I am stationary but not necessarily resting. For when I'm truly resting (e.g. sleeping or lounging on the couch) it is around 58-62.
I find coffee has a significant effect on my resting heart rate. The daily average goes up about 2 bpm for every 12 ozs I drink.0 -

When I'm in shape my RHR ranges from 45-50. Tore my MCL at the beginning of December so I had pretty much been sedentary until two weeks ago. RHR crept up anywhere from 50-60 from such a long time off.
Female, 20, was ~230lb when I tore my MCL. Definitely heavier than that now but don't have a scale to know by how much. Unfortunate reality of sports injuries.0 -
Some may be surprised that your HR decreases with age, I've had some people tell me that their rate is good for their advanced age...0
