I watched this movie every day after school, for about 3 months straight. I was obsessed. I didn't find it frightening.

Blue Velvet: you don't need to take drugs, just watch this movie and you will feel like you did. WTF Mr. Lynch

How could I forget Blue Velvet! And Lynch in general - I saw Eraserhead first and was bamboozled! Twin Peaks was the only TV series that I watched religiously - no visitors were allowed unless they wanted to sit quietly and watch it!

Time Bandits! Blade Runner! How did I leave them out?

Right, I'll try to stop now. I keep thinking of new ones.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Some lame "mockumentary" about some brash group of Federation a-holes who "stole a Klingon Bird of Prey" to save some whales. Sorry, COULD NOT HAPPEN. EVER. Any self respecting Klingon would self destruct their vessel before capture. Documentary. PAH! Federation propaganda!

"Terms of Endearment" with Jack Nicholson, Shirley MacLaine and Debra Winger.

The relationship between the mom and daughter touched me since I was having a difficult time with my own mom at the time.

YES All these. Though Amityville 1 was 79 (same as Alien) which I remember because I was 10 yrs old and peeking over the back of the theatre seat in front of me the whole time. BEST THING EVER.

COTC was terrible and awesome at the same time. Creepy creepy kids.
