I'm Dating a Clown: Relationship Advice

I am dating this amazing, gorgeous girl who happens to be a professional clown. When we first began dating, she'd change after work and wear "normal" clothing. She's extremely fit and attractive, which doesn't show when she's wearing her clown outfit, naturally.

Recently, however, she rarely changes out of her clown outfit - even when we go on dates. The day she met my parents for the first time, she arrived wearing her clown costume since she "just got off work and was in a rush to make it in time."

She's told me that I should accept her the way she is and even suggested that I buy a clown costume to dress with her so I don't feel as embarrassed. What should I do? Will this end badly or should I cave in and start dressing like a clown? I am conflicted because I absolutely love this girl and if this wasn't an issue, I'd marry her. Help!

    Is her name Clara Bell?
    Does she smell funny?
Has she asked what your shoe size was yet?
Does she insist on riding a unicycle because a bicycle is two-tired?

On a more serious note, I am terrified of actual clowns. Ever since I watched that one movie...
