  • Hey Mayra726,

Have some intense night sex and work off the calories. That's why haveing a S.O is important if getting in shape.

    Thanks B.

Don't feel bad! We all fall off the healthy Wagon once in a while. If the pizza is making you go over your allowed calories for the day balance it out with a workout. Maybe after the workout you'll be under calories for the day and seeing that might make you feel better. When I eat something I know I shouldn't, I try to be good and eat healthy the rest of the day. Hope this helps. :)

Its food, just log it and move on. maybe do some more exercise (assuming it exceeded your calories) to make up for it if you are that guilty or want to stay on track that much. The bigger issue is that you feel bad about eating such a small amount. It is just food and stressing about things will make you less effective plus unhappy.

Id be thinking yum pizza, glad I enjoyed it and I will just get down the gym and work it off if it exceeded my allowance ir I will try better tomorrow to stick to my calorie allowance.

Your ideas on detox are just misguided.

Whats done is done learn from this. One of the hardest thing that I face is tying food to emotions....thanks Mom, yes that scooter pie did make my knee fell better when I fell, not but did stop me from crying and the monster was born....

Pizza, unless you ordered it from a terrible, terrible, place, doesn't have toxins. Just log it, drink some water, and move on. Two slices of pizza shouldn't have the power to make you feel bad.

Thanks everyone! I guess I should have explained more, but I typed this last night right before bed because I was feeling bad and my SO didn't understand.

This past weekend I didn't eat so well, so that's why I felt worse because I'm afraid it will have a impact on my body. And I didn't get to workout yesterday and most likely won't be able to workout today. I usually do really good during the week and the weekend I indulge a bit. Well on Monday morning my stomach was huge and I felt bloated. So I've been drinking lots of water with lemon and eating my daily meals I prep on sunday nights. Anywhoo, my bachelorette is next weekend and my wedding next month! I guess I'm just trying to not mess up too much, and then wont fit in to my dress lol. I should have waited for the weekend to have that pizza and I didn't! :( I didn't enjoy the pizza AT ALL!! I mostly ate it because my SO bought it for me when I had a quick moment of weakness and text him that I was craving it soooo bad lol.

    I know its pretty lame.
  • It's ok to give in once in a while I would just out in a good workout, I give in to my Girl Scout cookies all the time.

You texted your fiancé that you wanted pizza and he brought home pizza? That's a win in my book.

get a grip...pizza isn't the *kitten* devil...it's not full of "toxins" and *kitten*...get a grip.

    oh-noes-everybody-panic.gif

I eat a couple slices of pizza every couple weeks...it's like 500 calories...that's the same as any other meal I would have.

Don't beat yourself up about it. You can't UN-eat food. So you had some pizza. It's not going to suddenly magically destroy the progress you've made.
Did it taste better than it made you feel bad? Take it as a lesson learned, and tomorrow is a new day.

I disagree...I think a beer cleanse is in order....from what I understand, that's the only way to really detox from the pizza...that's why most reputable pizzerias sell beer by the pitcher.

OP - if this is even a serious thread, here is my serious response...
    -
food is not bad, it is just food. What matters is that you hit your calorie/micro/macro target for the day, and then you can fill in with the things that you like, like pizza, ice cream, cookies, etc. So in your example if you have two slices of pizza, but the rest of yoru day was whole grains, eggs, lean meats, vegetables, and you hit your calorie/macro/micro target then you will be fine.

Overall diet and dosage is what matters, no one food choice....

In contrast to this, on Monday I went to Pizza Hut (because I was working away) and I had cheesy triangle starters followed by an 11" Meat Feast and then I had three refills at the Ice Cream Factory.

And it felt damn good! Yes, I was full. Yes, I ate well over my daily allowance but in the long run, it doesn't matter in the slightest. I've not been in a pizza restaurant for many months and it'll be a long while before I do it again.

Don't sweat about your mere two slices of pizza, it's absolutely nothing to worry about.

    Uh... wut?

Pizza isn't the devil. Having an "OMG! I SCREWED UP!!! I'M DONE" mentality isn't healthy. Get over it and calm your tits.

Also, there's no such thing as a detox as long as you have functioning kidneys and you're not diving face first into a pile of booger sugar.

Yes, you are right..how stupid of me...

one pitcher of beer = detoxing from two slices of pizza...

that is the correct ratio, right?

I eat pizza like... every week. There's nothing inherently wrong with pizza. Just fit it into your daily calories and try to hit your macros with your other meals/snacks.

Also.... I think I might have some pizza for lunch. Thanks, OP, for inadvertently giving me the suggestion.
