Stop beating tourself up, its more counterproductive than the food you are getting upset about.

    eat more pizza..

you need to do a pizza cleanse to cleanse all the pizza from your body ...

I disagree...I think a beer cleanse is in order....from what I understand, that's the only way to really detox from the pizza...that's why most reputable pizzerias sell beer by the pitcher.

Yes, you are right..how stupid of me...

one pitcher of beer = detoxing from two slices of pizza...

that is the correct ratio, right?

That's me...but you just have to play with it to see what works for you...we're all so vastly different and whatnot...

Thanks everyone! I guess I should have explained more, but I typed this last night right before bed because I was feeling bad and my SO didn't understand.

This past weekend I didn't eat so well, so that's why I felt worse because I'm afraid it will have a impact on my body. And I didn't get to workout yesterday and most likely won't be able to workout today. I usually do really good during the week and the weekend I indulge a bit. Well on Monday morning my stomach was huge and I felt bloated. So I've been drinking lots of water with lemon and eating my daily meals I prep on sunday nights. Anywhoo, my bachelorette is next weekend and my wedding next month! I guess I'm just trying to not mess up too much, and then wont fit in to my dress lol. I should have waited for the weekend to have that pizza and I didn't! :( I didn't enjoy the pizza AT ALL!! I mostly ate it because my SO bought it for me when I had a quick moment of weakness and text him that I was craving it soooo bad lol.

    I know its pretty lame.

Not lame. We have all been here and the best thing about this discussion board is you do get to tell people that understand how you feel. (Obviously not everyone haha) But we have all been there with that guilty gut feeling. What you need to focus on is that you didn't even enjoy it! That's great take that "moment of weakness" and turn it in to a postie, now you know you don't even need that pizza you're not really missing anything buy not eating it. And just apply that to anything you think you might be missing :) Thanks for posting this thread it nice to know others have "moments of weakness" too!

OP - if this is even a serious thread, here is my serious response...

food is not bad, it is just food. What matters is that you hit your calorie/micro/macro target for the day, and then you can fill in with the things that you like, like pizza, ice cream, cookies, etc. So in your example if you have two slices of pizza, but the rest of yoru day was whole grains, eggs, lean meats, vegetables, and you hit your calorie/macro/micro target then you will be fine.

Overall diet and dosage is what matters, no one food choice....

Thank you. Since I do eat very good during the day I'm pretty sure I was still within the calories I need to eat. I guess this post was one of those "pick me up" posts and possibly to get some info on detox waters or something.

I didn't get to workout which is what made me feel even worse, and won't have time to workout tonight :/

This is definitely a world crisis, send in the military!! ;)

ETA: OP: This a life style, you need to figure this out or you will have issues everytime you eat something that you think is "bad" food.

I don't know, is there a special color of Peep to cleanse pizza? Or will the yellow Peep cleanse do it?

I actually prefer beer to Peeps. As much as I value tincan's genius, I may have to defect to the beer cleanse.

I'm glad I posted this here, only ya'll understand.

There ya go--good attitude :D ! Yeah, 2 slices of pizza is a completely reasonable portion of pizza. I'd call that a win. And...pizza has amazing macros. For real, you get a great balance of carbs, fats, and protein. What's not to love?

Two slices isn't *that* bad. Just do some exercise, like half an hour of cardio and half an hour of strength training. Not only will that burn cals but the strength training will keep your metabolism up and burning calories for hours. :)

I eat pizza at least once a week. I just fit it into my calories for the day. If not then I burn a few more calories. A lifestyle change is about learning how to eat all foods in moderation.

Honestly, the way I've been thinking about it is this. Losing weight and being healthy is really just about making the best choices you can most of the time. Over the course of your journey, the pizza you ate today is pretty meaningless. Six months from now, what you weigh will be determined by what you did the majority of the time, not the two slices of pizza you had today. Every choice counts, this particular meal you chose to indulge, that's fine. Make the next few days better and move on.

I had un-planned pizza Sunday, and will have planned pizza tomorrow, but it won't derail me. The un-planned pizz was a nice surprise, and although it's wasn't the most healthful choice I made all week, it was darn delicious. The planned pizza tomorrow won't be much better, but I don't feel guilty about it either. I like pizza. I can have 1-2 slices and it doesn't mean really anything.
If you spend too much time dwelling on what you ate that you think you shouldn't have, you aren't focusing on preparing for yourself the good things you SHOULD eat.

    got ya...

FYI for future reference, your liver and kidneys will clean you out just fine. Anyone pushing a cleanse or detox on you is just selling snake oil...
