Unless you have a medical issue that requires it, there is absolutely no need to restrict carbs.

Weight loss is calories in vs calories out, that's it.

The bad ones look a bit shifty, like they may steal your wallet.

Carbs are just... carbs. They're not hidden, or bad, they just exist. No need to restrict them if you don't have a medical need, but many people seem to have had success with a low carb diet. But yeah. Unless someone stashed a piece of bread inside your steak, they're not hidden carbs, they're just carbs.

No such thing as good or bad carbs.

    All
carbs are converted to glucose in the body during digestion and metabolism anyway.

Be sure to avoid dark alleys as hidden evil carbs lurk there waiting to pounce.

Eliminating foods one at a time for three days may tell you what causes cravings.

No carbs aide in weight loss.

If you keep your calories in less than your calories out then any carbs will aid in weight loss.

STOP YOUR CARB PROFILING. Some of the most dangerous carbs look just like your wholesome next-door neighbor, only to turn out to be embezzlers or owners of an entire terabyte hard drive of questionable pornography.

carbs are just one of three macro-nutrients...carbohydrates/protein/fat. they aren't the devil.

In a general sense, carbs are neither good nor bad.

On a personal level, you may find that after eating certain foods, you get hungrier more quickly or crave other foods. That is something you'd have to figure out for yourself, perhaps by eliminating a certain food for a while and observing your eating habits.

That would not mean you have to stop eating that food forever. You just need to be more aware of what may happen afterwards.

If I eat a really delicious sweet treat (like a really rich chocolate brownie), I'll want to just eat the whole pan.

Usually I'll just go drink some water/milk and have a piece of fruit to kill off the sugary craving.

That doesn't make the brownie bad carbs. It may not be overly nutritious, but it's not bad as long as it fits in my calories :)
