Mine is old enough that it makes no difference - I can get out and run and leave her home, and on strength days, I get up before the fam anyway, so without school, I actually get to start a little later since everyone is sleeping in.

If you need an at-home, early morning workout, or something you can squeeze in during the kids' nap time or any time they are otherwise occupied for 20-30 minutes, check out Fitness Blender - great site with over 400 free workouts of various lengths. You can use their search feature to find shorter workouts, enter type of equipment (or choose no equipment for body weight exercise), difficulty, upper/lower body or core, etc, etc.

A short workout is better than no workout, and things will be back to normal next week. Good luck!

Get the kids out....its sunny in the UK.....not sure how it is there.....but take em to a park...teach them football (I mean the proper one too...soccer if you've turned yank yet...lol...) that will give you a good workout instead....
