Has anyone tried Sensa? It seems to good to be true, but am, considering giving it a try. Taste/effectiveness? Any feedback?

Had a conversation about this last night. You should totally try it.

    It's good for the lulz.

So you know how it "traps fat" that much is true, it robs you of dietary fat you'd benefit from, and gives you an express train to crapping it straight out. Imagine, an oil slick in the john. That's diet success.

I admit I have tried it. I got thru months 1 and 2 and honestly didn't think it did anything for me. I can say it did smell odd...not bad, but you could tell you sprinkled something on your food. I finally decided to turn the thing over to read what was in there, and I am still confused as to what actually is supposed to curb your appetite:
Maltodextrin - Food additive and a starch (no curbing of appetite)
Tricalcium Phosphate - Keeps powders from caking, among other things. (No curbing of appetite)
Silica - Yeah, sand. The same Silica that Taco Bell was busted for putting in their beef. (No curbing of appetite)
    Natural & Artificial Flavors

Sooooo, how is it this is supposed to help me eat less? Think I'd rather drink my water or eat a couple of apple slices (or the whole apple) or eat some veggies.

^^^ this. i read some horror stories about this stuff.. uncontrollable bowel movements at any time and any place - if you're into crapping your pants in public, by all means go for it!

I think you're thinking of Alli.

    At least Alli does something.

Sounds like Sensa does nothing at all...

...(although since that "something" that Alli does is "anal leakage", I think I'd rather have the Sensa doing nothing if I had to choose one of these.)

Sensa has Silica in it. Yes, like those little packets you see in your new shoes that says DO NOT EAT.

It's just meant to make you feel fuller faster.

Save your money. MFP is a fantastic resource, with lots of support. Weight loss is not easy, but it can be done. (I weighed nearly 200 lbs after my 2nd child was born, and less than 130 lbs now.)

As the quote above me states, you've already joined the best weight loss "program". It's not a shake diet or sensa, and it did not cost you a penny! It's a caloric deficit, and MyFitnessPal makes it easy :) This life style is a mind game, be mentally tough and accurate and you will reach your goals! You'll also do yourself a favor by adding in resitance and cardiovascular training so you could eat a little bit more :)
