    Wedding Website:

    www.mywedding.com/kimandcarl

Starting Weight (initial from engagement not from joining myfitnesspal): 204.6
    Current Weight: 161.2
Goal Weight: 150 for the wedding, 140 over all...

but i'd be even more happy with staying a higher weight just losing the fat around my tummy and thighs!!

i honestly ended up creating my own Excel Spreadsheet for my wedding tracker... i have my guest list with options for who i sent invites to, replies received, and then i'll have a column for gifts and thank you cards to send.

    it's a godsend!

but i need to start looking into how to plan the seating charts too... honestly... i might do that on the excel spreadsheet too... i haven't found any site with lists that i can really utilize...
  • AW, Kel & Kim, you're wedding websites are so lovely! I would make one but of course.. I have no information to post other than, uh, we're engaged! LOL...

    Wow this post almost died!:explode:

    Well I did ok

    Start Weight: 261.0
    Current Weight: 244.5
    Goal Weight: 215

Ideas, hmm how about 1 hour of eliptical/running. My wedding stuff is going ok. Trying to narrow down the actual time ot put on the invites. My other half wants to knock out alot of the pictures before that way we can get right to the reception after a few after wedding pics. I dont know if that will work out, were kinda pressed to get enough lighting after the reception for pics at the lake at the golf course were having the party at. Anyways, I'm going to go burn calories by beating my head againist the wall to try to organize all this!

    I know, I've been A.W.O.L.

    Starting weight: 203
    Current weight: 179
    Goal weight: 170-ish

Anyone have the problem that the undergarments they purchase to wear UNDER their dress cost more than the actual dress? That strikes me as really ridiculous, but I'm doing it anyway.

(Spanx = $$$, but worth it.)

    BUMP
  • I wish all of you the best of the best.
Unfortunately, I am no longer getting married at this time.
He moved back in to his parents house over the weekend.

I guess the only good is that I have lost more weight... However, I would rather have him in my life than the weight loss.

From my experience I can tell you that no matter whether you get to that ideal weight or not for your wedding day - your groom is never going to have seen anyone more beautiful then you when you walk down that aisle. And a bride's beauty I believe always comes from that pure joy on her face - that's what stands out on the day and the photos when you look back.

And in advance it's worth saying that while a wedding provides a perfect weight loss goal, it shouldn't be the end goal. Keep working at it to get to, or stay at, your ideal weight. I slacked off a bit after mine a couple of years ago and am having to work harder at it again now.

i'm so sorry to hear the groom moved home...

i'm actually pausing from my diet... i get married in 3 weeks... and if i lose any more weight i will be too small for my wedding dress... so i'm maintaining my weight for the wedding and honeymoon... then will start up again to drop the final 15 pounds...

however i have still been working out (got a Wii Fit!)... i'm just not being crazy food dieting...
