    I'd like to say a crossbow, but it's only useful if you have the distance, not so good up close. So yeah, I reckon a katana is the go. Light, mobile, razor sharp.

    Haha unlimited ammo is cheating. :P A shot gun would be nice though in tough scenarios.

    I would prefer armor over weapons. I can use anything as a weapon, but not as armor. I would go for full armor made of The teeth of the limpet species (it's harder than Kevlar) so it doesn't matter if they bite or scratch me. And if they overrun me i just lay still for the day and sleep, they will get bored and move on after a while.
