I hate that! I also gain weight every time I put clothes on!

My new weightloss program: Take off clothes. The end.

You should prob leave your clothes on.#justsayin

    Well you are a charmer.

Isn't he though? Also, I really wish people knew how to hashtag properly OR has the hashtag now taken the place of "no offense but ..." right before you say something offensive?

Completely And totally unrelated First post I made was "WTF" on one of those "date marry pass" forums.... and it has been notifying me for 3 days HOW THE HELL DO I STOP IT!

Did you tick the little gold star by mistake

on the website go to the top right-hand side, click on the star (bookmarks) and cancel it

also click on the bell - at the top there is a 'notifications preferences' click off on any you don't want to be notified about

No I didn't bookmark it but I posted on it :| it's so annoying and if I turn off notifications it will turn off for all forums

I find that it's easier to not receive notifications for threads I've posted in (that's an option under setting). Then, I just comb through recent posts for things with a yellow flag with the number of new posts (yellow on the website, bold on the app). Or, I'll star things I don't want to lose. But those can blow up your notifications, so I don't do it for things like "I'm a sugar addict" threads that I know will have 1000 posts overnight.

If you get weighed while holding in your hands 8 oz of meat, 1 cup of potatoes. a large salad with dressing and 16 ounces of water, the scale will show that you weigh more. So, it's only logical that you'd weigh more with the food/beverages in your stomach. It still has to be digested! Just get weighed once a week, first thing in the morning, before you eat.

Wow, this thread is CRAZY! It's like a moth to a "sarcasm" flame. Saying that, I never really wondered why I weigh more when I consume food/water, but I do understand the compulsive need to weigh myself. I love seeing the scale go down, predicting how much it will go down overnight, and so on, so forth. Even though I weight myself as much as I do, I only log it in MFP every other day at most, and only when I weight first thing in the morning (before food, after morning pee). That's my 2 cents. I am no expert, this is just how I do things

Huh, well, that makes sense. Pity, it does seem that a bit of stern upbringing would not have been remiss.
