I alternate between actual washing and using dry shampoo every other day

I shampoo and condition about twice a week...but if I have a sweaty day, or especially in summer, I will rinse it just with water every day. But I refuse to blow dry / flat iron my hair every day...so I will just put it in a bun and Im done with it.

BTW, I use an SLS free shampoo, and I alternate between doing a protein and moisturizing conditioner once a week. My hair has been feeling way nicer, plus when I do flat iron it, it has shine and body, yet not poofy like it used to be when I didnt wash and condition more often.

I have been planning to use dry shampoo but haven't really gotten around to it. I have fine hair so it tends to get oily and nasty real quick.

I typically wash my hair every other day (alternating with shaving in the shower...see "How often do you shave? thread). In the summer I may wash more frequently...if I swim in the pool or ocean...or have a particularly sweaty workout...but my "second day hair" usually looks better than when it has just been washed.

I try to do it every 4 days because I work out almost daily. However, lots of times I don't feel like it, so I'll wash it once a week sometimes.

I have very long, thick hair and lots of it. I probably wash my hair about 3 times a week.
I work out 5-6 times a week so this can be difficult if I'm sweating a lot. So I try to work it out so on my strictly cardio days I definitely wash my hair (have to, I'm sweating a ton) then on the days when I'm doing mostly strength training (but still some cardio) I can usually get away with not washing it.

I have fine hair and not much of it, so it gets excessively oily pretty quickly. I do try to only wash every other day. However, if I do any intense cardio I tend to wash it right after or first thing the next day because my head sweats quite a bit. I've been considering just rinsing it to see if that's enough.

I have a lot of problems with breakage as well. What brand of argan oil spray are you using?

I can't wash my hair a lot. My hair color is really expensive and I like to keep it fresh. I don't sweat too much when I work out, and I use dry shampoo.

I have a very oily scalp, I have to wash my hair with shampoo everyday. My hair starts to look greasy about 8 hours after washing it and gets really itchy.. :(

Every other day. My hair is quite thick and tends to become dry and frizzy if I wash it more often, though I do rinse it with water after a workout. I'm not a big fan of dry shampoo but I will use it when I'm in a hurry.

I used to wash it everyday until I went backpacking. It was then that I realized it would take almost a week before it even went slightly oily. .-.

Soooo, now... Only once a week. >.> Unless other factors (Sweaty gym sesh, swimming, styling, etc) call for otherwise.

    I'm gross. :3
