My body is literally refusing to work out. So i lost all the extra pounds and was perfectly close to a flat belly perfect body 6months bk. And then i got sick and i quit. Now everytime i try to start over, my body literally rules over my mind and be like lol you did this before, and quit. How do I start again?

DECIDE to take control back and just do it. Don't let the mind/body conflict play out in your head. You've done it before, you can do it again! This time, know your weaknesses and have a plan if you get sick again. The motivation you are looking for is already inside of you. Use it!0

"The body does what the mind tells it to do." Though you think it's your body telling you you can't workout, it's really your mind tricking you into thinking you can't. You just have to push through this rut and workout. You just have to convince your mind that you can workout and that you will stick to it this time.

What do you mean by your body is refusing to work out? Do you mean that you are in pain or weaker or just don't have the stamina for the workouts you used to do?
If you just feel in poor shape I would start with something a bit easier on your body like walking or shorter beginner workouts for a month or two to get back in the habit of moving more.
If you are feeling lethargic because the old workouts are boring maybe try something new to you or something to work toward like completing a certain race.0 -
See your doctor, if you are not physically able to work out or exercise. Your doctor may be able to find what is wrong. Otherwise it is not a body problem but the mind saying I can't. I hate to think of it as "start again" but I'd rather think of it as continuing to do what I know is right.0

Physically, Im in good health. Lethargic is the word. Lethargic, is what i feel all the time. And thanks guys.. i guess i should start with walking perhaps. Adopt to it for a week and then maybe move on to exercise. Any chart for beginner's workout, (i prefer free hands)... &im not much enthusiastic about following the old chart tbh.
Thanks much!0 -

I think getting moving is the best cure for lethargy. Seriously. Make a start and it gets easier to keep going after that.0 -

I definitely work out more than I do dishes.0 -
What is this weird Cartesian dualism? Your body isn't a sentient parasite that hangs off your brain and has wants and willpower of its own. It's one part of the single entity that is you, and it doesn't do very much that's not regulated by the brain. Thinking of your body as "other" or as an independent force that's not under your brain's control is not a good omen for success in health and fitness.0
