I'm going out to a formal event this evening, and so yesterday I tried on a dress which I haven't worn in at least a year. Back then, I had to stop wearing it because it was beginning to fit like a sausage casing.

Yesterday, when I tried it on I discovered ... it's a little bit too big for me now!! That dress has never been too big for me!! I was looking at myself in the mirror at different angles thinking that the dress hangs entirely differently from what I remember.

I'm definitely going to wear it ... while I still can!

I got back in this fave dress of mine for the first time in 3 years. It's now too big on the bust and back so I've got to have it taken in!!!

Getting to 180.0 (I was hoping for 179.? but I'll take it). Only gaining 1.6 over my days off. I usually gain 3-4 then lose it plus some weekly. Posting a pic on IG of me in a sports bra and undies. I have had body issues for years and years and as I was getting ready for a bike ride the other day, I caught my reflection in a mirror and thought...hmm...not bad. Big deal for me!

My weight loss progress has always been down a couple of pounds up a couple of pounds with a general downward trend over time. To counteract the issues I have with the scale bouncing all over the place, I only weigh myself every two weeks. this reduces that constant up and down business.

I'm workiing on establishing a habit of meditating and this week I'm just not consistent, but my success is I'm viewing it as progress that I'm sticking with it, not as a falure that I'm not perfect.

I went to the Dr about a week ago, and showed her how much I lost since the last time I was in. She was both surprised and delighted ... and more than happy to send me for blood cholesterol testing.

Last time I went, mine was 5.2. Sort of in the range of borderline high, depending on who you talk to.

    This time ... 4.2. :smiley::smiley:

My thrilled Dr rang me to give me the good news today. :)

Lost another 3lbs, taking me down to 132lbs - I've only weighed this little at one point in my life before (apart from childhood), so any weight I lose now will make me the slimmest I've ever been :D And I got my running up to 11km, which means I can eat loads more snacks and it be ok!

After a month of inactivity because of a medical issue, I am now cleared to get gradually active again. So I rode my bike to the produce market

Today I had a bit of a laugh. I have a small collection of straight skirts (pencil skirts) which I grew out of. I haven't had a chance to wear them to work until this week, so I selected one which was quite tight the last time I wore it ... and it is too loose!! I'm wearing it today, but it is just barely hanging on my hips. I've overshot an entire collection of clothes ... couldn't wear them before because I was too big ... can barely wear them now because they are too big.

I have overcame my TOM workout paranoia. I usually flat out refuse to do anything during TOM because I have endometriosis and a lot of pain. Yesterday I did 20 min of Yoga and today a 20 min 1 mile walk! First time ever being active during TOM, I'm so proud!!

I work on the 5th floor of an office building.

When I was at my heaviest, I did try to walk all the way up a couple times ... but I had to take several breaks, and if anyone had seen me as I neared the top, they would have probably sought medical attention for me.

However, as I've been losing weight, I climb those stairs every now and then and it has been getting easier.

Today, the lifts were out of order.

So, another co-worker and I walked up. I had the additional challenge of a somewhat heavy backpack. Nevertheless ... I made it all the way up, no stopping for breaks, and not even puffing and panting all that hard. :)

I'm into a skirt I wore in high school ... many, many years ago!! It's a straight/pencil skirt so a classic style, but I really have no idea why I hung onto it all these years. Nevertheless, I tried it on last night ... and it fits! So I wore it to work today. :)

This is a dumb one. I weighed this morning after what I knew was a great week only to find a .75 loss. I was pissed. Pissed to the point of wanting to go and blow it with a food tantrum that was probably going to involve mozzarella sticks and curse words.

Then I showered and got dressed to discover Aunt Flo. So I realized what the problem was before I went lashed out at it. Lol-that's my win right now :)

In a similar vein, I injured myself on Monday night early in my practice session, so I couldn't have my coaching time. I was so angry and frustrated that I almost stopped in at the takeaway on my way home - and then I shouted "NO!" as I was driving and drove home and ate what I planned for dinner. :)

Yesterday, I found the most adorable trench coat when I went out shopping. If this was ten months ago and I was still a 3X-4X, I would've stared longingly at it and walked away, feeling awful about myself. But I bought it in a size 14, and it looks fabulous. Total victory :)

YES!!!!!!!!!!! i LOVE having more clothing options as ive gotten smaller!

and last night when i was in bed, i was rubbing my forehead and noticed i have bones .... around my temple... ive never felt bones there before LOLOLOLOL
