I don't agree with weighing your food! I will say that people with lower stress seem to lose and keep the weight off.0

That I'm not special. The laws of physics apply to me perfectly well, and if I eat less calories than I expend, I *will* lose weight.0

*Learn to realize when you're actually hungry
*Don't give up - a step at a time, a day at a time and you'll get there
*It's not a diet, it's not restrictive, it's about balance
*Enjoy the little victories
*Don't use food as a reward0 -

This is really good! If I overspend on something, I am always adamant about finding ways to save in other areas to get my budget back on track. Why is it so much harder with food? I am definitely going to try to think of it like this from now on.

I've never really asked for or received diet "advice", but the one thing that really resonated with me was the basic mathematics that proved one binge shouldn't end my weight loss journey. Once I saw in black and white that I would have to eat an ADDITIONAL 3,500 calories above maintenance in order to gain one, stupid pound, it clicked. It's all just math, and I can handle that.0

If you're not hungry enough to make and eat some chicken and vegetables, maybe you're not very hungry!
And no, I don't just eat chicken and veggies, but it really helped me in the beginning to think about if I really was hungry, or just bored, or just wanted to eat something yummy (like donuts yum!).0 -
I give it. Don't DIET. Eat to meet your essentials and what ever calories you have left over...............eat what you like.
