    5/1 - rest day...did some stretching, but not counting it
    5/2 - pre-race brick: easy 6.8 mile bike ride in 24:51 and a very easy 1.2 mile run with some pickups in 11:25 - total 36:16
    5/3 - Mountain Goat Run - 10 miles and 531 ft of elevation gain in 1:44:56! :)
    5/4 - Lofty Ladies ride - 16.73 miles in 1:09:38 (included stops for the group to regather).
    5/5 - easy 2800y swim in 59:33
    5/6 - 60 min run - goal to maintain 9:45-10:00 min/mi pace. Did 6.25 miles in 1:01:17 (avg pace 9:48 min/mi)
    5/7 - 4x800Y steady swim with 2 min rest btw sets in 1:13:53
    5/8 - easy spin - 8.74 miles in 31:17. will do some core and stretching after work
    5/9 - 5k race in 28:54.25 official time. 23rd overall, 3rd in my age group (F30-39). :smiley:

    @Ejourneys i'm so sorry to read about your latest bone scan showing osteopenia. hoping the stepping routine will help alleviate some of the discomfort caused by this new prognosis.

    5/22 - rest day (I did do about 20 minutes of core/stretching, but I'm not counting it, since it was very easy)
    5/23 - Kettle Lakes 15K - it was a smidge short at 9.2 miles, but my official time was 1:29:30, which is about a 9 minute PR on 15K (I'd have done another .1 in about a minute, and my prior training 15k best was 1:39:47), and exactly 35 minutes faster than what I did this race in last year. Also had my 2nd best estimated 5k time of 28:35, and my best estimated 10K time of 59:00.

    It's late autumn here ... pitch black and chilly in the evenings now. So getting outside in the evenings is more of a challenge nevertheless, I'll see what I can do. :) My husband is working on setting up a gym inside, so that will help ... and there are always weekends.

    Plus I did a 35 min stair climbing workout in the evening. My yard is full of little sets of stairs. The longest one is 7 steps so I mainly focused on that one, up and down, up and down, but I also jogged between the others and did them too for some variety. In total, just over 1000 stairs climbed.
    Plus 10 min upper body weights workout.

    05 Tues - 4.8 km walking (60 min) ... again, all utility walking.

    5/25 - Memorial Day Brick. Rode the IM70.3 bike course - 55.5 miles in 3:42:38 (no stops!), then ran 1.01 miles in 9:11 - total 3:51:49

    5/1 - rest day...did some stretching, but not counting it
    5/2 - pre-race brick: easy 6.8 mile bike ride in 24:51 and a very easy 1.2 mile run with some pickups in 11:25 - total 36:16
    5/3 - Mountain Goat Run - 10 miles and 531 ft of elevation gain in 1:44:56! :)
    5/4 - Lofty Ladies ride - 16.73 miles in 1:09:38 (included stops for the group to regather).
    5/5 - easy 2800y swim in 59:33
    5/6 - 60 min run - goal to maintain 9:45-10:00 min/mi pace. Did 6.25 miles in 1:01:17 (avg pace 9:48 min/mi)
    5/7 - 4x800Y steady swim with 2 min rest btw sets in 1:13:53
    5/8 - easy spin - 8.74 miles in 31:17. will do some core and stretching after work
    5/9 - 5k race in 28:54.25 official time. 23rd overall, 3rd in my age group (F30-39). :smiley:
    5/10 - 2-ish hour pe 4/5 brick. 25.1 miles on the bike in 1:36:25, then 3.03 mile run in 30:08 - total 2:06:33
    5/11 - 20 miles in 1:29:06 on the trainer (stupid thunder and lightning!)
    5/12 - 4.6 mile run in 45:20 and yoga class 54:49 - total 1:41:19
    5/13 - Swim: 200Y warm up, 3x50Y pe 10 TT w/15 sec rest btw (watch then rebooted itself so started over), 20x50Y pe 10 TT w/15 sec rest btw, 12x25Y kickset pe 10 w/15 sec rest btw - total 43:12
    5/14 - Brick pe 5/6 - 17.1 mile bike ride in 1:00:02, and 3.1 mile run in 30:13 - total 1:30:15
    5/15 - Rest Day
    5/16 - Brick - 8.7 mile bike ride in 31:01 and 4.72 mile run in 45:01- total 1:15:02
    5/17 - Ironman 70.3 bike course - 55.5 miles and 2730 feet of elevation gain in 4:10:29 (included nutrition stops)
    5/18 - Lofty Ladies ride - 17.1 miles in 1:02:30 (1:00:37 moving time - had one stop)
    5/19 - yoga class 57:27
    5/20 - brick at tri practice: 16.14 mile bike in 58:35 and 3.11 mile run in 30:29
    5/21 - 10x200Y TT w/30 seconds rest btw in 45:07 (plus my post-swim hot tub TT :wink: )
    5/22 - rest day (I did do about 20 minutes of core/stretching, but I'm not counting it, since it was very easy)
    5/23 - Kettle Lakes 15K - it was a smidge short at 9.2 miles, but my official time was 1:29:30, which is about a 9 minute PR on 15K (I'd have done another .1 in about a minute, and my prior training 15k best was 1:39:47), and exactly 35 minutes faster than what I did this race in last year. Also had my 2nd best estimated 5k time of 28:35, and my best estimated 10K time of 59:00.
    5/24 - easy spin - 17.72 miles in 1:05:09 (ended at a friend's house for a BBQ), then rode 5.71 miles home after dinner in 20:20 - total 1:25:29
    5/25 - Memorial Day Brick. Rode the IM70.3 bike course - 55.5 miles in 3:42:38 (no stops!), then ran 1.01 miles in 9:11 - total 3:51:49
    5/26 - 4x500Y TT with 1:30 rest btw and 10x25Y kick set TT w/15 sec rest btw in 54:55 before work, and yoga class (58:27) after work. Total 1:53:22


    Total through 5/26 - 33.60
    Goal met 5/20! :)
