    Johnny Depp was the insane asylum Willy Wonka. Gene Wilder was the creepy but fun guy who you see at the store.

    I love Johnny Depp, but Wilder was the best Wonka, hands down.



    Now what about Charlie? I think Freddie Highmore was better than Peter Ostrum.....

    Johnny Depp. Both my kids and I agree that Gene Wilder Willy Wonka was creepy as hell while Depp was just hilarious lol.

    I'm the exact opposite. I loved the original and I hate Tim Burton and all he has done. He ruins remakes.

    Except Batman. I love Batman and it is too cheesy to hate.
